I have been texting with this guy for a little over 2 weeks now (started on match and then moved to texting). It was getting to the point where I was bored and we were just talking about our days and there was never any mention of us actually meeting. Last night in response to one of his texts I said "If you are free sometime this week or this weekend would you be interested in getting together for a drink or coffee?" I haven't heard anything. Maybe he thinks I was too "forward" but I'm not interested in having a pen pal.

Spoke too soon. He just texted "That sounds like a great idea. Do you have a preference? Drinks or coffee?"

glitzyglow - I told bl this the other night. I think Marco (the guy from my Italy trip) fixed me. I spent so many years not feeling wanted by my husband and unattractive that I thought that no one would ever want me. Marco kind of showed me that there are guys that want me and appreciate me. I joked that I want to send him an edible arrangement to thank him, lol!

Date #3 tonight. We're meeting for drinks and apps after he gets out of work. I joked with a friend that I need to straighten up my house "just in case" but I'm thinking I really should, lol.

pantsoffdanceoff I am glad you've got your groove back.

I decided to try Next Gen nails last night because I heard they last even longer than gel. I am not sure that I like them, but if they can last 3 weeks instead of the 5-9 days I get from gel I will deal with it.

I am really considering moving my workouts to the morning, but getting at at 4:15am will be so hard.

That was me a few weeks ago, just to be on the safe side. I was grateful that I did.

I'm so old. I had some drinks last night, wasn't drunk and woke up with the hangover from hell. I'm so glad I work from home as I am barely functioning.

Same here! Although I seem to have developed a higher tolerance for the beer I usually drink (Bud Light Lime). But anything else and UGH!! I'm going wine tasting this Sunday to celebrate mine and my friend's bday. I have a feeling I'll be calling in on Monday due to a wine hangover.

I helped my friend find a catfish the other day. She's on a bunch of dating sites and found this REALLY HOT guy. He claimed he was a trainer to famous people, so he didn't have any social media "for his client's privacy." Yeah, that makes no sense. So I reverse image searched his picture and found it was an old picture of a male model. She sent him a message with the website and everything and was all, "Ummm, WTF dude?" NEVER heard back. I feel bad because she really wants to find love and is super frustrated with dating currently. But, it was kind of fun tracking down the lie.

We both really want the guy to answer because I really do want to know what his end game was here. Does he get off on lying to people? Is he super lonely and just wanted at least a pen pal romance, but doesn't think he is good looking enough to find someone? Did he think he could get her to fall in love and then when the secret was revealed, it just wouldn't matter? Like, WHAT!?! I wish some of the former catfish people from here would come back and explain it to me.

jojoandleo I love reverse image search. I had one guy who seemed kind of off and I did that and got back like 4 different OKC accounts all with different states and occupations and stuff. I don't know how you catfish with dating anymore within a week or two (at the latest) I am wanting to meet, it wouldn't go on for very long.

This girl dates long distance a LOT. Homeboy didn't live locally, but lived somewhere she travels frequently. She would have wanted to meet up when she was in the area (in the next month), so it wouldn't have lasted long.

jojoandleo yeah I would be curious what he hoped to accomplish than as well since he wouldn't have been able to keep up the facade.

You go to google, click on the little camera icon, then upload the pic. The thing is, it typically tries to find the EXACT SAME pic, rather than the same PERSON.  So, if it is a pic of a friend or something on a locked down FB page, you probably won't find it. Pic from a website? Yeah, EASY FIND.

Manchester, I have only seen the train station and the airport there, so I'm looking forward to it. There are a few museums I want to check out while he is busy. 

I went to London years ago. Loved it!
