I think this can depend a lot on your protocol, but I'll give you mine. I did antagonist protocol.
July 29: CD 1, started birth control pills. August 11: last bc pill August 12-14: nothing August 15: started stims (Follistim, Menopur) August 17-22: monitoring labs & ultrasounds, pretty much every day or every other day, added Ganirelix on August 20 August 23: Trigger August 25: Egg retrieval
I only stimmed 8 days, which is pretty short, but I don't think most people go past 14 days for that.

Ok, that's kind of what I was thinking it would look like. I'm most likely going to start stims on 11/27 so I was trying to get an estimated retrieval date/week. DH is not allowed any time off in December, so he's going to have to call out the day of my retrieval. I just wanted to prep him ahead of time. Mostly to get him to commit to starting stims on 10/30 instead of 11/27. Hes worried about finances, I know we are/will be fine.

my RE said DH needs to be there on retrieval day (obviously) and that he needed to be home with me the day after as well. i guess in case i drop dead or something, someone can help, lol.

If you know when you're starting stims, you can get a decent estimation of when retrieval will be. At least, I think that's fairly consistent with different protocols. Generally the time between starting stims and retrieval is what EllenGriswold said, about ten days. It was longer for me because I wasn't responding well, so it was 14 days between starting stims and IUI. (We didn't do a retrieval because I didn't produce enough follicles, but retrieval would have been the day the IUI was.)
The suppression time, before you start stims, varies a lot between protocols though. I did an antagonist protocol, same as EllenGriswold, but I was on birth control pills for about 6 weeks and then Lupron for 2 weeks before starting stims.
It depends but once you start stims it should be 8-12 days or so (give or take a day or two) for retrieval then 3 or 5 days after that for transfer.
Supression time can vary. I was on BCP's for 6 weeks my first cycle, then 5 weeks my second cycle. This time it should be 2 or 3 then I do estrogen priming then start stims.
Aug 9 (CD17) - start Provera (this is because my cycle is very irregular/long) Aug 18 - last Provera Aug 21 - CD 1 Aug 22 - start stims (Gonal-F) Aug 26 - add Ganirelix Aug 27 - first monitoring
I did BCP for 10 weeks. On the third day after stopping, I had my "CD3" appt and started stims. Retrieval was 2 weeks later, I responded slowly and needed a longer duration of stims.
