So I'm watching GMA while sitting at the RE's office and a story pops up about fertility. They talked about charting and a new wearable thermometer. I know we are all mostly past charting but I thought it was interesting.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
So is this thing actually available or is it still on the idea/development stage?
I ask because last year I was on fertility friend forums and there was a crowd sourcing/kickstarter type thing going around for a wearable temp drop thingy. I thing you were supposed to stick it to your upper arm or something. I didn't join/pay so I'm not sure what happened but I think last I heard it was still in the developmdnt stage and was maybe ready to be released this winter. Or next spring.
Obviously this is not something I would need right now but if it worked and was easy to wear and use I might be interested in it later on even if not for TTC. With my cycles being so irregular I did like temping and knowing what was happening or not happening and when.
This is really interesting! I was a crappy temp-er and now I'm pretty well completely infertile so it won't be useful to me but I can see a market for this both for TTC and avoiding pregnancy.
