Good Morning! Happy Friday! Ended up getting the Galaxy S6 Active last night, instead of the Edge as recommended by @aellasbeth. I'm too clumsy and accident prone for such a cool phone. I'm just excited for the camera upgrade.
Advantages to being pregnant in the summer. You don't have to wear a coat! I had to wear my northface shell this morning because it was misty and zipping it was a little hard.
My supervisor is out today and Monday. Baby shower shopping tonight, since we ran out of time yesterday. I have a baby shower on Saturday. Getting dim sum on Sunday, I've been craving it all week.

Yay Friday!! Of course, it starts raining the one day we have plans to spend lots of time outdoors in the city. We're hopping on the ferry around 3, getting coffee at my new favorite coffee shop, then wandering around until dinner. Steelhead for dinner, then Outer Planet Brewing for post-dinner beers. Anyone been?
monsterz I am so jealous. A quiet hotel room and sleep sound heavenly.
@lauralynne Hawaii in October sounds wonderful and warm and not rainy.
I have to go work in my classroom today. It's a disaster zone and there is no way I can possibly get it ready in time. I'm stressed and I hate that I am spending my last week of freedom unpacking a classroom I should have never had to pack up. Uhg.
@lauralynne I love Wildtree. The meals I have made from there are great and we have reordered a number of the spices and oils. I have toyed with the idea of signing up as a rep to get the discount and recipes.

theoriginalbean - I haven't had anything from Outer Planet Brewing. Next time I'm in Capitol Hill, I'll have to give them a try. Have a fabulous Anniversary mini-getaway!
Good morning! I'm still doing my anti-rain dance for my Brewery Crawl tomorrow. But I'm a BAMF, so if I end up walking in rain it won't be terrible I'm just hoping it won't scare away the others who said they would go with us.
Today's my 1/2 Birthday, which I don't really celebrate. But we are going out for Thai food (one of my favorite cuisines) tonight, so that will kinda count as "celebrating."
BlackCanary, sending lots of T&P to your mom AND to you! I'm so sorry so much is going on at once and that you're in so much pain all the while. Big hugs.
I am totally enjoying the cool gray weather this morning. My crazy Friday night plans involve a trip to the running store and an early bedtime. If your list for the running store is longer than your grocery list, you might be training for a marathon...

Happy Friday!
My girlfriend and her kids are headed to visit today. We've got tickets to Little Big Town at an outdoor festival place. Looking forward to some wine and good company. I haven't seen her since last summer, even though she just lives in Milwaukee.

@lauralynne I've heard of wild tree. How do you get on these Freezer Meal workshops. I totally want to do one? And monsterz I will totally buy from you.
Yesterday I took bkb and my dad to the Evergreen State Fair. I'm am so exhausted from it but it was so much fun. I still feel hot from standing in the sun. Super excited for Disney now too. If bkb can do an eight our marathon there and not want to leave she can certainly do one in Disney. H was impressed, but he is totally dreading Disneyland. He hates having to keep up with that kind of stuff. I am really hoping it is DEAD there the week we go. Oh and how does Disney do strollers? Anyone know. I really don't want to bring one on the plane, but there is no way Bkb can walk that much.
Anyway today was off to a terrible start at work, but it's looking better. Trying to find one of those Seahawks infinity scarves with out paying an arm and a leg.
TGIF I'm headed out for a girls weekend in Victoria. Even though the weather is not looking that great I'm excited to spend time with my girls. I survived my first week as manager in training and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Who knew!

You can rent strollers there. I don't know the cost because tman was older when we went, but I'm sure you can find the info online.
There is stroller parking in several locations throughout the park and people just leave them parked while going on rides - with all their stuff in them. I don't think they are ever bothered (robbed).

vibes for you and your mom, BlackCanary @lauralynne I've never heard of Wild Tree but just looked it up and it looks pretty cool. I'd be interested in buying from you monsterz.
I'm WFH today and already had the garage door guy come and the pest control guy do his thing. This weekend I hope to clean out our empty bedroom now that our guest room has furniture that we can use for storage. We also need to grab DD's school supplies and a gift for a birthday party she has to go to next week. I can't believe I have a 4th grader (as of this Wed, when school starts).
Remembered my meds this morning, whee! God, I need to get my brain back in nice and orderly health. Busy weekend ahead: eye appointment in Issaquah at 3, then meeting a friend visiting from Austin for dinner. They have poker tomorrow night but I don't enjoy poker and didn't want to be stuck at our other friend's house WAAAY up in Mountlake Terrace until H was done. But I wanted to see this friend so suggested dinner. He put it on me to decide where to go. ARGH, I dunno! I don't want really fancy.
Actually had a good appointment with the orthopedist yesterday. Wish I had been sent to him first off instead of the phys.med. doc as that caused a month delay in all this and now we're creeping up WAY too close to the trip. This doctor amused me in that he had a 50s style good looks, complete with the black black hair color and style, and I felt like he must have had a privileged life, something about the cultured tone of his voice and way of speaking. Made me wonder if he's had hardships. (Ya, i'm weird). Anyway, I really liked him though, he pulled up my xrays and then explained to me what we were looking at, what he saw, how the hip works, what might be the problem, etc and while he used medical terms or names, he'd immediately follow it up with lay terminology. I was really impressed with his communication skills! I have a contrast MRI scheduled for next Monday.

Rainy just makes high tea that much more cozy!!
Oh, look up a macaron shop while you're there. They had lemon verbena and it was soooo good!
mkate710 I think you should stop by my work after the running store to show me your goods
I'm going to the green lake location actually they have a big grand reopening sale today.
theoriginalbean I need to replace both my shoes and cw-x tights. I'm out of Nuun (mayday mayday!) and low on gu. And I could use new socks. Possibly new insoles too. My credit card is crying in a corner.
I can usually get stuff there cheaper than anywhere else and I almost always find a coupon code online to use too. Make sure to put stuff in your cart to see the price. Some stuff they can't list at the price they actually sell it for. There is free two day shipping and no sales tax since they have no locations in WA

Yup, I actually used to order everything from them unless I needed to get refitted. They do usually have the best deal, but I have a rewards account thing at RRS now and have a coupon on top of the discounts. Plus, I've decided tights must be done in person. I really do prefer our running store in Kirkland and still go there too sometimes.
But seriously, it would be so much better for my wallet if I went back to buying this stuff online. Any running store and I go all kid in a candy store. It's bad.
I could host a freezer meal party thing at my house, I'm all the way in Everett though - then everyone (sotally toberkarebear219) could make the meals and monsterz could get hooked up with the lady! She was my friend's friend...she seemed really nice. Just throwing it out there
Sounds good to me or I could throw one too I bet a lot of my mom or even non momfriends would be interested

DH just found round trip last minute tickets to Denver for $30/pp leaving in a few hours. I have a birthday party I'm throwing for a friend so I can't go. He's thinking about going by himself and I'm jealous... I would love to spend the weekend exploring Denver!
