Weekend plans?

What's up on this fine Friday morning?

Today is S's last day of camp. She will likely be   when I pick her up, and I don't blame her. It's been awesome, and DH is so excited that she got this opportunity. We already put the deposit down for next year.

Tomorrow is her school's maintenance day. That should soften the blow of camp. She can't wait to see her friend Sebastian. And there's another girl with her name in class this year! She's very much looking forward to meeting her.

Sunday we continue to prep for Ireland(!) and my parents coming to visit. 

Sometime over the weekend we're going to break the news to S that we're going to Ireland and she's not. I hope it goes over well...

Tonight probably just grilling some burgers (aka 1 for myself and 1 for my dog) and relaxing with some beer and celebrating.

Tomorrow I have a 10 mile race in NH and have to run another 2 miles before and 6 after. Then 2 of my college girlfriends are coming over to hang out in the pool and we are going out for margaritas & Mexican food.

Sunday I have to run another 5 miles. Then probably sitting poolside with more beer and margaritas and alcohol. I may see if my dad and sister just want to come to my house since my sister has to pick up furniture anyways.

We haven't been in 10 years. I was so excited to see my favorite restaurant in Killarney is still open. Chicken boxty for me!

I'm so glad it's Friday. It was a rough week at work, but luckily I have today off to decompress. It's such a beautiful day!

DH and I are headed to CT for a family reunion tomorrow (day trip... lots of driving, ugh). We might go diving with seals on Sunday. That will be super awesome if it works out :-D

Congrats bostonmichelle! Must be such a relief to have gotten through it. Have a great time in NYC, scm1011! Weirdly, FB has decided that I am a Mets fan, because there's a Mets story on the sidebar every day now, ha. And drloretta, good luck telling S. We're going to need a trip report when you're back!

We have no actual plans for this weekend. I survived week 1 back at work, and my husband survived week 1 of being a SAHD, so we're celebrating with tacos and beer tonight. I am freaking exhausted, though - B still wakes up at least once per night, about 2 1/2 hours before my alarm goes off, so it's been rough. I almost cried when my alarm went off this morning. Definitely looking forward to not having to rush to get ready in the morning, even if I still have to get up with the kiddo. If I can peel myself off the couch, maybe we'll head to Castle Island or something.

The two year old and I are on our own this weekend. T is in NYC with friends going to the Sox-Mets games. We are meeting my sil and nephew in Malden tomorrow for a festival and I have six miles to run on Sunday.

We broke the news to S tonight. She just kept shaking her head no. I gave her a hug and told her we'd buy her a present. That seemed to satisfy her

I'm doing house wife type nonsense this weekend. We had plans, but H is sick, so those got scrapped.

My shoulder is still f'd from getting rear ended in June, so I'm still gimpy.
