1. 38+2
2. Recovering from a cold. Although I really didn't think I'd still be pregnant, I'm glad I haven't gone into labor because while sick I'd probably be more likely to opt for a RCS when I'd really like a VBAC.
3. Not solid yet. We'll probably put this one in daycare in January because for the past 3 years, DH has been a student/SAHD but he'll be student teaching full time next semester. It's either get a part time nanny to share time with my mom or daycare. Because DD has such a full schedule of preschool and therapy, I'd rather do daycare than have this one just tag along to all DD's stuff.
4. Induction set for 9/3 if I make it that long. No one can believe that after an emergency cerclage and 5 weeks of bedrest, I'm still pregnant more than 3 weeks after the cerclage was removed! I feel overdue, even though I'm only 38 and change. I wish the contractions would either stop or DO SOMETHING!!
1. 21w4d 2. Pretty good. Had some anxiety this week with decreased movement and strong BH. 3. Gah no. Depends on the sleep-ability of the baby. Hoping to hold off on a nanny until 8-9 mos and use sitters until then. We will see how it works, might have to something different. 4. I'm debating about "announcing" on FB. We leave for a vacation in a week and DH told me that he'd like to be able to post vacation pics. Not sure if we should announce before or just wait and see if people notice in pics.
2. How are you feeling? Amazing.Finally. I still get really tired in the afetrnoons and a little nauseous but I see light at the end of the tunnel
3. Do you have childcare planned out?We will use the same daycar DD goes to. We are really happy so far with everything there.
4. Pregnancy vents/randoms.Im at the awkward stage of clothing. And I have a conference to go to when I am 18 weeks that I want new outfits for and I cant decide what to get. Its in San Antonio so I may just wear maxi dresses. And I probably dont need to buy anything but will. Maybe new shoes and accessories.
My NT scan is Wednesday. I am super nervous but excited.
2. Great so far! Only very minor nausea so far. Tired though. It's hard to remember, but I think I was still feeling pretty good at 5 weeks last time, but by like 7 weeks I felt like I had been hit by a truck. So I'm trying not to be too smug about it because I suspect it's coming, and SOON
3. No, but last night's post about RCS and letting family know kind of got me thinking about it. I'll probably do RCS, so at least we'll be able to schedule it. But I'm not sure about having our families come out for the birth (to do childcare even) because I really don't think I'm going to want houseguests right when we get home. So I may need to come up with another solution for childcare during the birth. As for childcare for AFTER the birth, no....we don't have that figured out yet either. Based on our current income there is no was we can afford two kids at DS' current daycare. We can put both kiddos into military base daycare which is a lot less expensive. Or if my H gets a full-time teaching job then we can keep them at the current place.
4. I hate the early stages. The first few weeks are kind of a mind f*ck because I don't FEEL pregnant or LOOK pregnant (okay, debatable...I still look kinda pregnant from DS but don't look any more pregnant than I did a few weeks ago). We haven't told anyone yet. It just doesn't feel real yet.
2. How are you feeling? Okay, getting around is harder. I'm ALMOST at the point where I would rather have a newborn than be pregnant. That's huge for me.
3. Do you have childcare planned out?
Um, kind of? ILs live 3 blocks away and we can call them anytime. My parents live a mile away and my mom will come over MOTN if necessary. DS will stay at home with ILs/my mom while I'm in the hospital.
ETA: I just realized I totally missed the point of this question, lol. I have a pretty short maternity leave (8 weeks) and then DS is going to take over until Jan. In Jan DS2 will go to the at home with DS1. We love her and are grateful that she is holding a spot.
4. Pregnancy vents/randoms.
I still haven't decided VBAC vs RCS and my OB talks about it at every visit. Honestly, I am leaning more toward RCS because we are 100% certain we are done with kids after this one and I could get a tubal at the same time. The devil you know sounds better right now.
2. How are you feeling? Mostly good, minus the bad lower back pain that has come on with a vengeance. I had my first ever visit with a Webster method chiropractor earlier this week and we'll see if we can fix it. I haven't been sleeping well because it's very painful for me to turn over at night.
3. Do you have childcare planned out? Yep, baby #2 will be our in-home daycare provider's last baby before retirement. She plans to continue working for another 5+ years, but is no longer taking any new infants (except for ours) and next summer she's not taking the school aged kids.
4. Pregnancy vents/randoms. Subway is still the only thing that sounds good to me on a regular basis, and I really want it for lunch today. But I had it for lunch on Wednesday and I feel like my coworkers will give me the side-eye. Oh well, I'll probably go anyway. Nobody tell my OB that I'm eating a ridiculous amount of non-heated deli meat this time!
2. Starting to feel pregnant. Generally I feel good but my belly is starting to get in the way and my SI joint is acting up. I need to do some yoga or something.
3. I am staying home this year so yes, me:)
4. This isn't pg related, but my mom and I talked about her flying out for ds' bday in oct. I asked her if she still planned that and she was all well I have to check with your sister bc she wanted to go away with bil for her 40th bday and wanted me to babysit that weekend. Ummmm. Ok?
She has been at one of my sisters at least twice a month all summer (they live a 5-7 hr drive from her). We just moved back to the lower 48 from Alaska and everyone talked about how nice it would be for us to be closer. I guess that was all talk, or really they think we are just going to travel there to three different states to see everyone.
I'm kind of hurt and really bummed bc I don't think she is going to come. I want Ds to know her like his cousins do. She also was like well you want me to come out in dec after the baby? Yes, but you can come more than once! Ugh.
2. It totally depends on the hour at this point. I mostly feel pretty good, but when I hurt, I hurt. I just can't imagine this kid getting any bigger in there. I have no more space to offer.
3. More or less. I will SAH. I will want part time daycare at some point, but I haven't figured that out yet. In the meantime, a certain number of highly subsidized days at a center are available as a perk through H's office, so I am sure we will take advantage of that from time to time to give me a day off or a day to get things done.
4. I have eaten nothing but crap this week and I don't feel great about it. I am trying to stave off labor related anxiety at this point. I can't believe it is so close!
4. I'm debating about "announcing" on FB. We leave for a vacation in a week and DH told me that he'd like to be able to post vacation pics. Not sure if we should announce before or just wait and see if people notice in pics.
I would announce with one of the pics: Boiler has been enjoying vacation food a little too much! Just kidding, it's a baby...
Lol. I popped while I was on vacation to Italy. My response to the stares when I came back was, "What? I like pasta."
2. How are you feeling? Ugh. I've started getting daily migraines, and I developed a resistance to Tylenol ages ago. I just want to curl up in bed with my hot rice pack.
3. Do you have childcare planned out? Visiting a 3rd daycare today. Last week's visits went well, except DH had one favorite and my favorite was a different one. Screw everyone and your "you just know!"
4. Pregnancy vents/randoms? I'm entering the uncomfortable stage of not looking pregnant yet, but my pants are incredibly tight and uncomfortable. This could also be related to my lack of exercise. I'm going to try and find some flowy tops that are work appropriate and will let me do the hair tie through the button hole trick.
1. How far along are you? 29 weeks on Sunday, woah!
2. How are you feeling? Mostly fine. Tired, but I can't tell if that's from the busiest summer ever (while chasing a toddler) or if it's 3rd tri exhaustion. Also, work has been insane, so I've been trying to catch up on my stuff after DS goes to bed. But I cannot stay up until 10:30 or 11 anymore, I'm dragging the next day
3 Do you have childcare planned out? Um, hopefully? I'll need this one to start daycare late Feb 2016. DS' daycare has an infant waiting list until May (that's with the sibling preference), even though I feel like I told them early! The director thinks it will work out as people always drop off the waiting list but I'm a little nervous. Between DH's rotating schedule, my aunt being retired, and me WFH a few hours, I'm hoping we could piece together a solution that could work for few weeks/months if needed.
4. Pregnancy vents/randoms I passed my 3 hour glucose test, wooo! I'm shocked! And it wasn't as bad as I expected. Now work is stressing me out. I'm training a new guy who will take on some of my duties while I'm on ML. He um, doesn't know excel at all. And I work in accounting and many of our programs are excel based. And I will be out for year end. Part of me is all, SO MUCH TO TEACH HIM IN 11 WEEKS. And the other part just wants my department to have to scramble and finally realize how much I do around here.
18 weeks 1 day Feeling good still waiting for some movement Yes we will use the same in home daycare we use now Had our anatomy scan this week everything looks good and it is another boy which I am very excited about!
2. Fine pregnancy wise. But I stubbed my toe really hard yesterday and now I'm worried it might be broken or jammed...it's swollen and purple and I can't bend it or put any weight on it without significant pain. It's the middle toe so I can still hobble around by just rolling my weight onto my big toe but still. Not ideal with a toddler to chase!
3. Not really. I work PT now and will put that on hold for a few months when the baby gets here. DD will stay in part time DC. Longer term I hope to put him in the same DC as DD (also part time) but need to increase my hours or pick up another client in order to fund that. We will see.
4. TMI: I think I have a fucking hemorrhoid. Ugh. Between that and the toe I feel like a hot mess this week!
2. I'm feeling great! I can feel little kicks during the day. No nausea and exhaustion but I'm hungry often. I only weigh 3 lbs more than last pregnancy. The cellulite is pretty bad though.
3. My parents live with us and take care of the kids. It works well for us.
4. This has been like the best week ever. Monday I had an anatomy scan with the MFM. Everything looks great so far. We will double check in 8 weeks. Just when we were going to give up the home search and convert dd's nursery into a shared room and in a span of 4 days, we found a house we loved and went under contract. I can't believe we are picking out the final touches and will move next month. My babies will have their own rooms and a playroom. I'm on pinterest allll day. Also, we're going on vacation next week!
2. Not bad, actually. Big, but better than I have at some earlier points. Grateful that I haven't gained any weight in 2 weeks, after a 4-5 week stretch of 2 lbs/week. Pregnancy is weird.
3. Yes, mostly, although our daycare won't take a deposit until she's born (I wish they would now!). I'm going to take 8 weeks of maternity leave, then weeks #8-12 WFH with Calvin working part time. I will return to work at 12 weeks, and he's going to take weeks #12-16 (ish) of paternity leave. The "ish" is related to not knowing the exact date a daycare opening will be at our 1st choice. They said sometime between Feb-Apr. That could be when she's 8-12 weeks, or it could be a little more than 16. We're willing to flex a little because it was our first choice, and in walking distance to both of our offices.
4. I'm racing in a 5k open water swim tomorrow! I have made the jump from 1 piece Speedo to 2 piece. I feel totally self conscious about my size/shape, but it had to happen. They just are not cut to hold this kind of belly!
2. How are you feeling? Great! I'm already nesting. Thank you, Joy of Tidying.
3. Do you have childcare planned out? He will be in daycare of some description. We likely will move before his arrival, so it's all TBD.
4. Pregnancy vents/randoms. Just waiting to feel the little guy move. I didn't feel anything with my DD until almost 19 weeks so I know it's early, but I also know second-time moms feel movement sooner. I have part 1 of my anatomy scan on Tuesday and I can't wait to see the little guy on the screen. Fingers crossed all goes well.
longtimenopost, you're so close! @missy1, dude, everything's coming up missy. Exciting week!
1. About 6 weeks 2. Puffy. Tired. Mildly nauseated throughout the day. 3. Please. I haven't even made my first dr appt, I'm certainly not thinking of childcare yet! 4. At varying moments of the day, I already look 5 months pregnant. To avoid the nausea, I'm shoveling food in my face all. Day. Long. I'm thinking this pregnancy will be very different from the last!

1. How far along are you? 11 weeks!
2. How are you feeling? Good. Tired because my older kid comes to bed in the MOTN and kicks me, but no nausea, no severe exhaustion anymore. I am SO anxious to heartbeat on Tuesday, then we can tell work and extended family/friends!
3. Do you have childcare planned out? Not yet. Next week we will tell our DCP is PRAY she can take our new little one.
4. Pregnancy vents/randoms. I have been wearing maternity clothes all week. No one is the wiser.
2. Okay, but starting to hit a wall mentally/physically
3. n/a since I SAH; also, DD will hopefully be going to a parents morning out program one day a week
4. My doctor had to reschedule my RCS for 3 days earlier, so I am now having a September baby! 9/29 is the new date - 10 days after my bday. Initially I was annoyed and freaked out by the change in date, but it's 3 fewer days for me to go into labor and we get to meet baby boy 3 days earlier. Although it's exactly 1 month from tomorrow - eek!

1. 34.5 weeks 2. So much better! 2.0 maybe dropped, but definitely moved/changed positions. The really really painful spot on my abs doesn't hurt anymore- I can sneeze freely! I can lean over! Otherwise I just feel large and tired from sleeping poorly. 3. Kind of- MIL confirmed tha she will watch L and the dog for us, we haven't discussed any specific plans about the handoff. She prefers he stay at her house which is such a pain bc I then have to pack him a bag while in labor, and we have to figure out a car seat swap. I wish in this instance she would just stay at our house for a few days. (Eta- oh wait, lol. I SAH. This one will stay with me too.) 4. H goes away for work next week. I have a friend lined up to come help me deliver if I go into labor. Lol. Also we are planning on a week at my parents' house on the lake the week after (36 weeks). It's a 5 hour drive from home, but there is a hospital there with an awesome mother/baby unit and nicu (that I actually toured in school before it opened), so I'm not really worried about having to deliver there. I double checked with my doctor this week since our papers say I can travel up to 36 weeks. She said her medical advice is to not go, but this is our "vacation" (with my parents.. Yay) and I really want to go. We are planning on going anyway and just taking it day by day. Eh.

1. How far along are you? 8 weeks tomorrow!
2. How are you feeling? Really not so great, heh. Overall, the nausea has just kind of taken over this week. Multiple episodes of vomiting. It's temporary, and I'll survive but yesterday was rough
3. Do you have childcare planned out? Yup. c'est moi! lol
4. Pregnancy vents/randoms. We had our first u/s this week and baby is measuring right on track with my LMP which is cool to me, and had a strong heartbeat. I'm so very grateful, and happy!
