But this is a website of independent advertisers... I'd think it would be the least likely place for human traffickers to show up.

Also, DHS isn't saying there's human trafficking going on, and that's what spurred their action, they're relying solely on the Internet for jurisdiction.

yes, exactly. The traffickers were posting the ads. The OP is an escort site so the chances of prostitution are very high, which means trafficking is also likely.
