CO R's cancel presidential vote at 2016 caucus

My first reaction when I heard this was "Trump." They don't want to be stuck supporting him.

Then I got salty and also vindication from this paragraph:

I was one of the RP supporters at the Jeffco county caucus and it was very apparent from the leadership they wanted Mitt Romney and no other candidate. Another girl who had been selected as a delegate wore her RP shirt to the caucus and was denied entry even though she was supposed to be in.

In short, though, I'm ok with this move since I think giving delegates flexibility to choose who to support provides for a better chance to show accurate representation.

My second thought was "does that mean Coloradans will get less political mailings and phone calls for primary season? Oh, please let it be so!"

My third thought was to call myself a hypocrite since I hang out on a politics chat board every day.

This is why I'm registered independent

Also, my vote doesn't really matter. Oregon.
