First day of school!

For the first time in 25 years, I'm not having a first day of school as a student or a teacher!! This would have been my 8th year teaching but I'm on leave until January. I'm going back during exam week which definitely will not have a
"first day" feel to it. It's bittersweet, I love being home with my peanut but I also love the excitement of the first day of school.

To all the teachers out there, especially Liz starting in her first job, hope it went smoothly!!

I'm so excited for Liz too! And I'm so nervous for my niece who is starting middle school today and just a bundle of nerves! Middle school is so hard. I was just telling H what mean girls we could be in middle. Poor peanut.

Me too! It felt so nice to lay in bed with my baby and not have to worry about getting up for work! But I go back in October to make sure I am ready to all the IEPs that need written for the year. It will be so tough to leave my girls!
