We got thru the inspection contingency (finally) on my house on Friday. Onto P&S and then waiting for the buyers to get financing. I still can't believe this is happening to an extent.
I am tiiiiiiired today. I think B has hit the four month wakeful, because he went to bed at 10, then was up chatting at 12:30, 1:30 and 2. I broke my own rule and brought him to bed at 2 so I could try to sleep for a bit before he woke up hangry at 3. This kid is killing me. It's a good thing he's cute. His other new thing is to get himself into crawling position, and then kind of push himself forward with his legs dragging behind. He looks like Chapelle in that Rick James skit. Every time he does it, my husband and I start yelling, "What am I going to do about my legs, Eddie Murphy?!!?" (So like this basically.)
I'm sorry les. You had been with him for quite a while, right? That's no fun no matter what the circumstances.
I had, I think, a very good interview on Friday (thanks for the interview attire help input if you voted in my MM poll!) at a Health insurance comPany. My one concern is that it is obviously a business attire office, and right now my work clothes are just nice jeans and tops. I should hear later this week, cross your fingers for me!
Awkward: We were together just over a year. It's definitely not fun to go through, but I hope this is a step toward finding the right person for me.
vtdiamond & bostonmichelle: The new job is great! I really like my coworkers and am learning a lot. The commute and pay are nice bonuses. I'm still learning to navigate the hierarchy of teaching hospitals, which is a bit strange to me. It's a privilege to work at such an innovative and renowned institution.

This made me legit lol
Seriously. Look at this ridiculousness - those legs just get dragged behind him. (He doesn't get very far, he's still pretty unstable and has no idea what he's doing, but it's hilarious.)

i am doing ok. I'm back to school as of last week (boo) and this week I'm trying to stay as comfortable as possible in my classroom in this heat. Luckily I think I have an awesome group of kids this semester who are making the transition back to work so much easier.
les I'm sorry to hear that That's really hard. Good luck on your new classes. It sounds like you will be quite busy between school and work.
Work has been stressful lately and it's only going to get worse before it gets better... I just need to make it through this week and maaaaaybe things will improve. At least we have a long weekend coming up!
RockNVoll, I didn't realize the US trip was right now!
Our Monday went in the crapper as S and I either have mild colds or wicked allergies. Either way we're laying low. So glad we didn't commit to a trip to Boston Common yesterday.
I have to AW my lean, mean, traveling machine activity today. All CCs are notified of travel, we have an international calling plan set up should we need it (and we will, MIL is already insisting we call her), itinerary is somewhat set, documents are printed out, passports are in hand. I need to wrap up a medical directive for S in case my parents need it, and finish packing. So excited!
