"Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies-"God damn it, you've got to be kind.”

Those are misters to help cool people off in Poland's huge heat wave, but I can see the issue. It also looks like the attendant understood the issue along with the museum rep and they focused on the safety and health of their museum goers in their response at least.

I get that but really NO ONE saw how insensitive this is? There are other options for accommodating the heat wave that would not be so thoughtless.
When I worked retail in college we had a huge summer sale and it got incredibly hot in the tents. We used to have giant fans that we could hook misters up to. It's not perfect but it's about 1,000x better than what they actually installed.

Ummmmm surely there were alternatives to this like cold water bottles.

I'm sure this was way cheaper, but yes, I think they need to change it to swamp-cooler fans or something.
It amazes me how people can go through the steps of conceiving, planning, and carrying out an idea without actually thinking it through.
And MULTIPLE people, all at once. How many people did it take to get these showers installed and not ONE of them said, hey, maybe that's not a good idea?
Also, I would like to point out that they are NOT showers. They're misters. Two totally different things. I fully get the connotation, but they are not showers.

Well, the gas chambers weren't actually showers, either. They misted poison gas.
Just curious if other news sources are reporting this, since its the Post. Mainly because I cannot imagine anyone, anywhere in the world, who wouldn't think this is completely insensitive.
