My team has some type of Harry Potter theme going on today, but that is all I can tell so far. My wand from my desk is missing and there are posters with my face on them saying have you seen this wizard.

Also, how do you flirt with someone or know when they are flirting back?  The bartender at bowling is really cute in a nerdy way.  The first week I complimented his Mario themed belt and we had a little convo around that and last night he was a bit chatty as well.  I can't go on league night next week, so I will have to go up there and post bowl by myself on either Wed or Thur, so I thought about having a drink at the bar and trying to chat a bit. However he is a bartender and that is kind of his job, so I have no idea.

I was out with a friend last night and we saw the cutest dog. I now want to get a dog. Maybe it will be a finishing my dissertation gift to myself later this year.

No real advice on the flirting bl. You could just be direct and ask if he wants to go get a drink, coffee, etc and if he says yes then he probably was flirting!

Had some jackhole hit me this morning while I was waiting to make a right hand turn. They clipped the corner of my bumper and took off; at least I managed to snag a pic of their license plate.

Ended up getting a biopsy at the gynecologist; ouch!! I spent the afternoon napping b/c the pain is bothering me. It's not omg painful but its more like annoying painful; a pinch that just goes on forever.

Jury duty tomorrow. On the plus side the CHP office is next to the court complex so I can file my accident report after jury duty. Saves me a trip and some gas $$.

Outdoor kitty is letting me get closer. I still can't pet him but I can get within inches of him before he backs away. He waits for me every afternoon and meows at me when he sees me.

At the Counting Crows concert. They should be coming on any minute now. I am a bit disappointed in the venue though. The tickets are lawn and the grade of the grass is so steep. We brought chairs but can't even set them up as we'll be tipping forward.

My dinosaur class starts today!! Woohoo Its an online course through the University of Alberta and I'm taking it for fun.

They played in Seattle last Summer with Toad the Wet Sprocket in a park setting. I was looking forward to going, especially since it was just after Toad's Kickstarter-funded album was released. Turns out, the tickets, before any kind of service charge, were $45 for lawn seats. I'm too old to sit on the ground for 2 acts! I also wasn't going to spend $75 (!) to sit on a bleacher seat at the park, so we didn't go.

Yeah, the tickets I got were free but they were selling for $40. It was soooo uncomfortable We ended up leaving 45 minutes in to beat the crowd out, and because we're old and we were bored and tired. Womp, womp.

I'd be in full support of the name change. I think a lot of us feel like we are done starting over. Or maybe single (ish) life.

I disagree. I've been divorced for a long time but I feel like I'm starting over every day because I don't know what's going to be thrown at me.

I think it's more like forgetting what happened yesterday and looking forward to what could happen today.

Or maybe something like New Beginnings.  I don't have an issue with the name so its not something that I really think about.

Except that some of the regs are married.

If we really wanted an accurate name for the board, it should probably be "Been Through Some Crap."
