A childhood friend of my sister's just delivered her twin girls. Dana was only 23 weeks along and each baby girl weighed only 1lb.
One of Faith's lungs was partially collapsed. Hope still has bleeding in the brain & her hematocrit levels still need to rise. Her left lung is leaking air into the outside of the lung.
At one point they had trouble reviving Faith. The NICU did chest compressions for 20 minutes and slowly weened her off the oxygen, she's now stable.
These two little angels can use all of the T&P's that they can get.

The whole thing is just horrible. I was not a close friend of Dana's, although my husband was. The only updates I hear are what is posted on the facebook "event" that was created for them.
Her sorority sisters have really pulled together and started fundraising to help them pay for the hotel stay to be close to the babies, gas, food, etc.
I pray that these little girls can pull through this.
