Recall on my mini :(

I have to bring my mini in next week to have the side impact air bags replaced.  It isn't a big deal, but I want it done asap just in case.  They are giving me a loaner BMW to take home, so that isn't too shabby!

Yeah, I really like that dealership.  I called as soon as I got the letter because I can imagine how busy they will be with this.

I won't lie, the maintenance on our Mini has cost us so much money already. Granted, it was in warranty until the beginning of this month so it could have been worse! Still love it, but holy shit! The last time we also had a BMW loaner, so that was a plus. Ours is not brand new, so I am not quite looking forward to repair/maintenance costs now that it is off of warranty. MH likes to argue that it's so fun to drive the price is worth it. Haha

That beats my recall notice. A few weeks ago I got a notice that they need to replace my passenger side airbag, but they are having supply problems and no one in my area can actually do it right now, but they'll notify me when they can. o-O Great.

Yeah, mini is built by BMW, so I can imagine it being really costly for repairs.  This won't cost anything and I have tons of my warranty left.  It is fun!  I mean, I had 2 BMW's and a Mercedes before that, so it can't cost that much!
