We've used tons of great brands- we're on Dr. Tim's Kinesis right now, as it's one of few easily obtainable (and reasonably affordable) kibbles appropriate for giant breed pups. We alternate with a different white label kibble, also made by Ohio Pet Foods- and branded by a local vet.
Right now we're using Taste of the Wild Sierra Mountain (lamb) formula. I also like Wellness Core. I prefer grain-free dog foods. In the past we tried Innova and Blue Wilderness, but both gave my dog some digestive issues.

Merrick, although I read that they've just been bought by Purina. I'm keeping an eye on the ingredients and will switch if it declines in quality.
We used Fromm for a long time before this. I think it's better than Merrick, but we had to switch due to a dry food strike. If we have to switch from Merrick, Fromm will be the first one I try.

I do the "Taste of the Wild" Pacific Stream. I get it through Amazon Prime. I read a bunch of dog food threads back when I was adopting Marley, and then also got advice from my trainer, etc., and this one was the most frequently mentioned. I think Costco's brand is also made by them?

We are like dog food twins. We feed her grain free since she has some food allergies and other than Honest Kitchen dehydrated food, but that is pretty expensive so we supplement it with grain free kibble. Also add in meat... because she is spoiled

TOTW is owned (and manufactured) by Diamond.
Costco contracts with Diamond to produce their Nature's Domain line, as does Tractor Supply (some of their formulas) and several other companies have them produce part of their lines (Solid Gold, Natural Balance, this changes frequently- hard to keep up).
I strongly prefer grain free for my 3 pups. We have given them Taste of the wild, authority, 4Health and Blue Buffalo. If I buy a different brand I just mix it with their current food before it runs out. They have never had any issues with us switching their food. They actually eat better when we switch it up.
The vet feeds the mutt Taste of the Wild when he's there and he seems to do well on it. We've given up on the Blue Buffalo, it gives him diarrhea and stinky (and frequent) farts.
We feed the grain-free Acana formulas. We've been through a number of different kibbles with our resident dogs and fosters, and everyone does the best on Acana. If price is a concern, I think Taste of the Wild is one of the better grain-free and affordable options. Our dogs did well on TOTW.
Our vet sells Fromm and Solid Gold products in her office, but those are two brands we haven't tried.
My pooch has preservative allergies so we feed homemade. It's expensive and time consuming but it's the only thing we've found that works - thankfully, our vet gave us the recipe!

We had the same issues on Blue Buffalo. We switched briefly to Authority, but have now been on TOTW Pacific Stream for a while with no issues.
