I didn't even check the Tide, I assumed it was HE. I filled up the tank so it's got a half a bottle of non HE detergent in there. Is this really bad? Is it going to overflow with suds ? Lol

I couldn't resist, dd and I have been watching the Brady Bunch I really have no helpful information , but there has to be some way to get it out of there
I'm not positive, but it might be OK. Do you have a way to select the amount of detergent that it uses? Maybe if you choose the lowest level of detergent in a large load, and then do an extra rinse (or two), you'll be OK. I'm guessing the manual or google will have more suggestions.

Ok, I am embarrassed to admit I have purchased non HE detergent on THREE separate occasions. The bad news is, the way I discovered each time was the huge amount of suds on the floor. The good news is, it was several loads before that happened. So if this is your first load, you may be in luck. DOn't use it on purpose though.

Ugh. I have half a Costco size bottle in the automatic dispenser.

Filled up the tank? Did I miss something? I just bought a new washing machine and I can't fill up my tank? What a genius idea though so we don't have to constantly pour detergent in the machine every time….
As for HE vs no, when I did initial research on it a few months ago the HE is low suds bc it uses less water. So maybe the worst case scenario is you might have some residue left on your clothes.

It has tanks for detergent and softener.
Amazing! How did I miss this in my search for a new set. What is the brand you have?
