I think it's cool if you have a connection to that person. Or if it has some historical significance. But to be honest with you, with as many "oh that's so sweet" stories that are out there, I've become numb to those headlines.
But do I think it's creepy? Nah. Invasion of privacy? Maybe. But everyone has written a love letter in some form. We all (mostly) have felt the emotions or can relate. I get why people would be so interested in the letter for nostalgia.

I get the invasion of privacy feeling. I always feel like I'm getting into the intimacy of people's lives with stuff like that and... maybe it's not my place? That being said, I'm also weird about how much people share in general. On social media, with people they don't know. I am pretty private IRL so that might change my views.

I agree with all of this. I feel like some things should be private. I think if it is someone that I am close to (my parents or grandparents) I would think it sweet, and be curious, but I overall wouldn't want to read someone's private thoughts and expressions.
