How long?

How long does it usually take to get reimbursed for travel expenses? When H flew from TX to MI we got paid back for that in about a month. When we got to Guam we had to pay for the hotel out of pocket and it wasn't cheap! I was just wondering how long it usually takes to get paid back because it's been about two months now.

It depends on how long it takes him to turn in the paperwork and how long it takes them to enter it in. J stands there and waits for them to enter it before he leaves because he's had so many issues with it in the past. After it's done, it usually only takes a week or two for payment to show up.

Wow so I defiantly need to get H on that. I know he turned it in but he wouldn't have stayed to watch them enter it in. Thank you!

We had to get the IG involved regarding DH's AT to Germany pay because it took so long. It was almost 6 months.

It is usually w/in 21 days of submitting all docs. That being said if there is an error they don't call you they send a nondescript email which most service members miss/ignore.
