I was picking up a few things at Publix last night when all of a sudden I felt a gush, looked down, and saw blood running down my legs. When I went to the ER, one of the OB's from my practice was on call. Baby's heartbeat was strong, and my cervix is closed, so he said since the baby wasn't in distress he'd have me come in today for an ultrasound. I'm waiting for the office to open to see when I can get in.
Bleeding has been fairly heavy through the night, and honestly, I'm terrified they're going to see something on the u/s that can't be "fixed".
Oh no....I hope all is well. I can't imagine the nerves you must have today. Will be thinking of you and praying that all is fine once they view the ultrasound today. Thoughts and prayers....
Ugh. No. I got my fingers crossed this is nothing more than a big scare. Keep positive thoughts and let us know what the doctor says.
Man. You must be stressed to the max. I will be thinking of you and the baby. My mom said she bled tons with me, even bright red blood and was convinced she would lose me, but here I am.....here. I have a feeling this will be a story you tell your kid for years to come
Hang in there and lots of prayers coming your way.
Just got back from the OB. Baby looks great, was moving around, strong heartbeat. My SCH, however, which was so small they didn't measure 2 weeks ago, ruptured open. It's twice the size it ever was.
Dr says he really doesn't like to see this in the second trimester, and while he's had many patients go on to have healthy pregnancy, there's a 25-30% chance I could still miscarry. I hated hearing that, hated it. He said at this point, there is nothing anyone can do; that some OB's would recommend bedrest, but he doesn't feel that would help. For now, I'm still on pelvic rest, and have orders to continue taking it really easy and drinking tons of water (in hopes that will increase blood flow, and help repair the tear).
Yes. Strong heartbeat. Keep focusing on that. Don't you set one more foot in that damn publix. Let us do your shopping. What do you need? Put your feet up, drink drink drink and take this day by day.
Seriously. Please let us know what we can do. A and I get a lil bored and restless, esp now that school is back in. Help put us to good use! Text me your address and your grocery list tomorrow or any day but Wed and Sat!

Yes, take it EASY. And take people up on their offer to help, please.
I'm here too, like everyone else. I normally come up your way Fridays for Chiro appointments and I also work from home, so let me know if you need anything.

So glad to hear that the baby looks good. But I'm so sorry you are dealing with all this. Like Kate said, you deserve an easier pregnancy than this. I am thinking of you.
Sorry to hear you're going through this. No pregnant woman should be subjected to this much stress! Ditto everyone else, take it easy and never feel bad about asking for help.
I am so glad the baby looks good. Like everyone said, take it easy. This really sucks, you worked so hard to get pg. T & P to you and that little baby.

glad to hear the baby looks good. please take it easy the remainder of the pregnancy even if it means putting yourself on bed rest before the dr orders it.
