My cat has started sneezing lately and I don't know if I should worry or not.
It started late Monday. It was more frequent yesterday with spirts of several sneezes in a row. He was still doing it this morning but we're down to only one sneeze and sometimes just a kind of sniffle thing. When I say frequently I mean he's clearing his nose a few times an hour.
Nothing else about him has changed. He's eating like normal, playing, using the litter box normally, interacting with us fine and generally bright eyed and bushy tailed. He has no nasal discharge (except right after a sneeze obviously) and his eyes are clear.
I've changed his litter and wiped out the box and we haven't changed any sort of detergent or cleaning product we use. I'm planning on taking him to the vet on Friday when I can take a half day if he hasn't stopped. Am I putting this off too long? Any ideas?

If he's still eating/drinking and generally acting okay each day, I think waiting until Friday was fine. Have you opened the windows recently? My cat always seems to have a sneezing fit when I switch between a/c and fresh air.
I think waiting is fine. It sounds like it's just a kitty cold. Have you interacted with other cats lately? One of our cats went to the vet once, and apparently picked up a cold. Then one by one, the other two cats also got it. It was kind of funny and bizarre, but at least we were able to pinpoint what it was.
