Is your main concern that you're miserable or that you want to avoid induction? When will your doctor start encouraging induction?
Induction. They scheduled it for Monday! I asked to push it back.
Yeesh. Doctors are so induction-happy these days. Monday isn't even 41 weeks, and if your and the baby's health is good, it seems unnecessary. But what do I know. I hope you can get it pushed back. Well, what I really hope is that you go into labor naturally asap, of course!
she was actually the one that told us we were having a boy Mushe! The past couple of week she's been talking about the baby boy in mommy's tummy. Kids are eerily psychic!
So true about psychic kids! DS was saying he wanted twins before he even really knew it was a possibility. Then he wanted a boy and a girl and he's getting it.

I know! It was a surprise to me! I am going to work on accepting this.
How funny! When is your NT scan and Harmony testing? Mine is Oct. 19, immediately after my first official OB appointment.
October 20th! They were booked solid on the 19th which was the first day they said I could do it... I just called this morning.
I'm actually having the Panorama test done. My OB mentioned Harmony when I saw her, but the actual prescription said Panorama. I think they're all basically the same.

Muddled, I don't know if this is your first baby so sorry if I'm telling you stuff you already know but I was in the same position as you. My Ob wanted to induce at 40w 3 days but then I managed to put him off and was induced at 41 weeks. I was really worried because of the higher risk of a Csection etc etc but in the end it was fabulous and I would beg to be induced next time if possible.
I just want to reassure you that being induced can actually be really positive once you get your head around it. I was super freaked out by my crunchy yoga teacher that my OB is known as induction happy, almost guaranteed a c section, cascade of interventions etc etc but I'm glad with how it went.
I had a full night's sleep (as much as I could with peeing 100x a night) on the Sunday night, induced at 8am Monday morning, baby at noon. I was well rested and it helped me those first few days as I hadn't done an overnight of contractions etc.
Anyway, I hope you go into labour naturally this weekend but wanted to reassure you if it comes to Monday and you are induced that it might be amazing. Good luck!!!!

Here's an anecdote to cheer you up: my mum was overdue with me and was scheduled to be induced but went into labour the day before my eviction date. Obviously you should wrap your head around an induction so you're prepared, but you could still go into labour naturally. I have hope for you!
We found the perfect house, the only down side is the move in date. We can't move until the last week of Oct....aka the week I'm due Our options are super limited here and even though we have another house to check out tonight, the only way it could beat the one we just saw is if it has everything it has PLUS and earlier move in date. Which I'm not holding my breath. The LL has said its ours if we want it so we need to make a decision for sure by tomorrow.
We've decided we'll probably go with the late move in if this last one doesn't work, but holy shit this child better stay put now! This means another month of hotel living with the dogs in a kennel and hoping this child doesn't show up the week we move in. It's not ideal by any means, but in the long run would be the best option for us.
I think that's a good decision. Speaking as someone who has moved abroad several times, the experience is challenging enough already without having to be less than happy with where you live. You want to make sure your home is comfortable and also not too far from things. It's very easy to feel isolated, especially when you're the trailing spouse.

DS was the only one that though this nugget was a girl. Everyone else thought boy. He was right.
Muddled I hope you can avoid induction. Time to break out the spicy food and sex with the hubs. Easier said than done, I know.
Yay on finding a place G22. I hope everything works out and that little boy stays put!
bcarp30 Little boys are awesome. They love their mamas like no other. I'm on the couch right now with mine watching Blaze and the Monster Machines while he rubs my arm. It's true love.

I know it hasn't pushed you into labor yet, but do you feel like the acu is helpful? Do you notice any changes.
I honestly have no idea. It's clearly not magic, but I enjoy it. Baby goes CRAZY during acupuncture now. It's not nearly as relaxing as it used to be. The kid gets really riled up. I end up watching my stomach instead of zoning out. It's like a whole circus tent in there, stampeding elephants and all.
The last house we checked out last night actually worked out! It had everything the other one had with an earlier move in date! Fingers crossed if all goes well, we may be moving in next weekend!
