I am going pinterest crazy with recipes today, although I am hella busy.

I am on my neighborhood association board. It's not a real HOA- no one is required to pay dues and we have no power or anything, we just plan events and take up collections to get things fixed, etc.

I do not understand people who bitch and moan and cause a huge fight about things, but then never come to any meetings, never pay dues, and never help out on projects. Does not compute. Either you care, or you don't. Don't contribute? You don't get to complain. Period.

Annoying!  This is like clients that I have that complain about things at the studio, but yet, they have not been in in a year.  Things like, "I wish you had a hot tub".  Not even kidding.

If you know exactly what you want, you could always try a car buying service (Costco or USAA are the two I would recommend.) They are essentially headhunters for car buying.

My randoms - I appreciate the pope coming to visit, but I am tired of hearing about it/how it is affecting commutes/etc.

Another (annoying) random...while I was out on my vacation, my boss made a $15K mistake, that everyone is pretty pissed about. And it is all something that could (SHOULD) have been avoided, I came back the next, and the deal didn't actually close until 8 days later. :\

Work has been nuts, hubby threw his back out and scared the ever loving shit out of me, and I've been a big ol ball of anxiety for a month now.

I just want a staycation. I can't even get it up for Vegas in November.
