OMG - I need to get those for Abby. I don't care that she hasn't seen the movies and doesn't know how Chewbacca is.
We went to a Polish Festival last night, and there was a polka band in the tent while we were eating dinner. She wanted to dance and loved the music. I got all teary because it reminded me of going to things at my grandparents' church and dancing with my mom and grandmother. I wish my grandparents lived closer and didn't have my useless aunt and cousin living with them.

S is fully engaged in the Terrible Twos. HIGHLY independent, has to do everything for himself, and boy, if you thwart him when he wants something...
Last night he had a complete meltdown if Eric put him on the ground at all. He was a fucking mess. I ended up having to carry him upstairs and put him in his crib until he settled down a bit.

I just read DD's teacher's webpage, and today's activities included a "Pope Francis craft." I am dying to know what that is and will ask DH to take a picture tomorrow. (They are hanging up in the hallway.)

Ugh.
I'm right there with ya. Freaking two year olds, man.

DS doesn't even turn two until next month and I'm there, too. Please pass the bourbon.
It's official: I'm clearly of good solid peasant stock and would have made a fantastic wet nurse. I've pumped 26 ounces today. and I could have pumped more...my overachieving right boob was still producing when I got antsy sitting in the pumping room and stopped.
This is such a FWP...I feel ridiculous even writing this out.
I'm shopping for new bedding for my daughter. My daughter is turning 6 in a couple weeks and she LOVES horses and unicorns right now and I found a really cute set of sheets at Pottery Barn Kids. The sheets are $60 for a twin bed but I'm torn on also buying the round unicorn pillow. I feel like I need it to go with the sheets but the thing is $40. $40 for a pillow! ....ugh. I can't see myself dropping that, especially if in 6 months from now she might be onto another thing and suddenly unicorns are no longer cool. Should I go for it? I really need someone to tell me yes or no.
I'm only buying the sheets so far...none of the other items, her current duvet will work with the sheets.

So I've been fed up with the kids swim lessons. H got a rec from a friend for someone to come to our house. She's here right now and amazing.
I kept thinking her name sounded familiar so I asked h if j had met her before. He looked at me like I'm a moron. She's a three time Olympic gold medalist. Lol. How cool is that?
I want the Girls Run the Galaxy shirt SO BAD, but it's not available online or in store per their (terrible) website. I also want it in my size.
I totally got the leggings & Chewy shirt, though. Plus the MLP pants BabyLiu has been asking for but I hadn't found in her size. BoyLiu got nothing, because I got him some stuff at Target on Saturday.
GODDAMMIT. second day in the office. I forgot the fucking horns to my fucking pump. I just hand expressed 3.5 ounces and guess I'll just head home after my 1:30 meeting. I'm going to be about ready to BURST by then. I KNEW this was going to happen. I had to pump one side last night before bed because sizzli passed out after just one boob. Like...I actually poked him and wiggled him and gave him little baby wet willies trying to wake him back up to take both sides, but he was OUT. (daycare is making little man tired) So I had to get all my shit back out of my bag and pump and then wash it again. And as I'm laying it on the drying rack I thought to myself, "do NOT forget to pack this back up in the AM."
and then I forgot.
I need an office backup. I hate being such a flake.
Some boy on DS3's soccer team try to bully him last night and started pushing him around. DS3 may be tiny (3rd percentile) but he's the youngest of 3 boys and a scrappy little fighter I'm pretty sure if it had been my oldest he wouldn't have founght back.
