first birthday present?

My BFF's babies are turning one this weekend and I am a huge slacker and need to get them a gift.

As they get older I will for sure do separate gifts based on their individual interests, but for this birthday I want to do a joint present.  Any ideas??  They are boy/girl twins and my friend loves matching outfits and other twin stuff.

Joint presents are hard- do you know if they have a tent/tunnel system? Mine LOVED the tent and little tunnel that attached to it at that age. They actually still bring it out every now and then and they are 5, they fold up pretty small. There are a couple on amazon prime that would probably make it by Saturday but I'm sure they also have some at TRU.
Sorry, blanking on what they used to share at that age- we used to just get 2 of everything

For me, books were the best presents. They almost never get tired of them and they last a long time. Especially at age one, where there weren't a whole lot of toys they found entertaining.

Mine got the fisher price laugh and learning door. It is great and they are able toplaywith it at. The same time.
