Does anyone use a medication patch?

I'm using one that I leave on for a week at a time. I take it off for showers, or swimming. I find it's giving me an awful rash, and falls off with the slightest bit of sweat. Any tips? I hate constantly taking it off, and then needing to tape it back on. The rash is really getting to me, and I'm lost for ideas of what to do.

I have generic and name brand Lidocaine. The generic is horrible and immediately starts moving and coming off. They are crap. The name brand are SO much better.

Could you be allergic or sensitive to the adhesive? Is there a different type you could try?
