for the bachelorette party. I'm not in love with it. I wish it were shorter and a bit lower cut. I am taking it tomorrow to see if I can have it hemmed a bit.
I should have just bought something online. There are no dresses in store because of the seasonal transition. I might try rent the runway, or just deal with it and wear this.
Dress shopping made me feel so down. I got STUCK in a dress. Do you know how horrifying it is to think you have to pull a "hulk" and break free from a dress? I finally calmed my nerves, twisted back my shoulder and was freed. I almost called Jay into the dressing room. After that I looked at him and said, "I'm done. We're leaving and going home." Then I drank.
I almost got stuck in a dress last night. I want to wear a dress I bought 2 years ago to the wedding in Brazil, so I had to try it on. I was having trouble zipping it in the back, so I zipped it and tried pulling it over my head. hahaha The maneuvering it took to get the waist part over my boobs was intense. Thankfully I was able to unzip it pretty easily once I got it on.
I'm going to look for another dress this weekend just in case because that was a tight squeeze. lol
I have been stuck in a fitting room before and it's the worst! The panic, the sweating (which makes it harder to get out), the contortionist moves required to actually get out. Definitely one of the worst things to experience while shopping.
I once got the zipper of a dress so caught in my hair that I had to call for a salesperson from the changing room with the dress up over my head because I couldn't see to get out. So, yeah.
You look great and I'm lol-ing at your 'I wish it was lower cut and shorter'. I'm always wishing dresses were longer and not as low cut but you could undoubtedly rock it!
