Probably some sort of dressy dress they already own. If I can find matching dresses for under $30/each, I'll buy those instead (but that's harder to do now that DD1 is a size 6).
It's never really cold here in November, so their Thanksgiving/Christmas/Easter dresses are all interchangeable except for colors. Always short sleeved or sleeveless.
All from Gymboree. I pulled the sweater dress out of the package and thought there was no way it'd fit DD because it was HUGE. Apparently she's bigger than I realize because it fits her just fine.

I like all this except the bows.
I know, I know. I'm sorry! It was BOGO and I needed something else of a cheap price to make an even number of items in my cart.
I got a really cute grey dress at target with sweater tights and these cute cat shoes. Unless she destroys the outfit before then. I also bought an adorable tutu dress from old Navy. It's only us and my parents so we don't go nuts.

Yep, I got the dress and leggings too. What shoes are you pairing with it? I thought brown boots but then they would cover the bows on the bottom of the leggings. Also, in true Gymboree fashion this dress runs huge! I bought DD a 18-24 month because 2T was huge and a 3T was massive on her!

now you're making me feel bad that this fits her! lol. She's 20 months now and I got the 2T. ETA: the 18-24mo would probably fit better, but not enough for me to bother exchanging. And I seem to be the only one that doesn't find Gymboree to run big. She wears her exact size and actually grows out of them quicker than other brands.
She never wear any shoes other than Stride Rite Mary Jane style of shoes. She just refuses anything else. These navy blue ones are probably what she'll wear. She has really huge, fat feet with narrow heels so I don't have the luxury of buying her cute shoes that "go" with outfits. It makes me very sad.

I bought a second hand Gymboree corduroy tunic. Let me see if I can find a photo. I also have a Gymboree top that's says "sweet as pumpkin pie" and it still fits her even though it's 6-12 months. Gymboree sizing is weird. She's almost 19 months.
Probably their Gymboree pumpkin sweater dresses from two seasons ago that I stalked on resale. And if they'll keep them in well re use the turkey bows I bought from swizz last year.
Corduroys and a button down shirt from Carter's. I just got all the 9m winter clothes I bought for him. I only got one nice outfit because I realized from his 6m clothes that he mostly just needs onesies and comfy pants. I'll get him some Christmas pajamas, but won't buy anything else for him until he needs it.
