Our GE dryer is 17 months old. It has had this problem since day one- we should have returned it.
It does not dry or sense correctly, like ever. We had it repaired when it was under one year, but the same problem is back with vengeance.
We are trying to save money any way we can...do we:
1) repair it again, risking the same issue to happen yet again
2) sell it for $100 on CL and buy a new one
??

Can you call and see what the company can do? Since it was already documented that it had this issue, they might help. Apple fixed my laptop after fixing a problem that reemerged after the year warranty was up. Never hurts to.ask.
