When you were doing bottles in the middle of the night, what made it easier for you? I feel like last time I really didn't have a system down and would waste so much time going to the kitchen, making the bottle, heating it up, etc. What tips do you have?
So I've never actually done nighttime formula feedings, since by the time DD was on formula she didn't eat at night anymore. However, general tips: make a pitcher of formula in the evening (or a bunch of bottles) to cover any nighttime feedings as well as the next day (send to daycare?). Will your kid take it cold? There's no need to warm it up if they don't reject cold bottles. If they do need it warmed up, figure out by how much and write down a routine. I'd always just warm it up in a cup or bowl of water that I'd microwaved, so I'd do something like fill a mug halfway, microwave 1 minute, put the bottle in for a few minutes, swirl it around (which wouldn't get it warm, but it wouldn't be chilled anymore).

I am super lazy, so I used pre-mixed two ounce bottle for a loooong time. Then we moved a mini-fridge and microwave into our master bath so I didn't have to go all the way to the kitchen. Again, lazy. But it worked. I plan on doing the same thing this time around.

I did pre-make bottles, which you would think would be helpful, but really just added a bunch of time to the bottle warmer. A 4oz chilled bottle would take like 5 minutes to heat up. She wouldn't take them cold, maybe this baby will!
Pre-measured formula in bottle and a bottle of water on the night stand. Pour and shake. Done. If she couldn't have handled bubbles I think we would done RTF bottles.
I had the formula measured out and placed in those travel formula cups. I then also filled the bottle up with water. When he woke up mix and shake and it always ready to go. No measuring or warming needed. Water was already at room temp.
I had the water in the bottle beforehand and used those formula dispensers to pre-measure the powder. Then I just had to dump the powder into the bottle and shake.

DD drank hers cold, so before bed we mixed up a couple of bottles and put them in the fridge. When she woke up we came downstairs and got it and then fed her in her room.

See, I was cool dumping in the formula (wide-neck bottles are a MUST) but pouring the water and getting the right amount was tough with bleary eyes. So I pre-filled bottles with water and then dumped in the formula when it was time. L was cool with room-temp bottles, though.
Also, we used Playtex Drop-ins exclusively. Target makes generic refills, and not having to wash bottles made it so, so worth it to us.

Ditto swizz exactly. Dd always ate at room Temp so it was super easy. We had the water premeasured and the formula in single serving Tommie tippee cups. It required about 10 seconds to pour shake and serve. We put it on dds nightstand at bed time.

This is why I never understood the draw of making bottles in advance. Too damn long to heat up a bottle.
I had the bottles filled with water sitting on her dresser, and the formula was measured out in separate containers right next to the bottles. We just dumped a container into the bottle, shook, and fed. We just left the empty bottle on the dresser and would take all of the dirty ones to the kitchen in the morning. I never went into the kitchen during the night, which helped me to fall back asleep quicker. We used TT bottles and had these formula containers.

I used to put the formula in the bottle then bring up one of those Medela pumping bottles with the water. When baby woke up just pour in the water and shake. It was already at room temp.

Baby Brezza is AMAZING!!!! Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Push start, and perfect, warm formula comes out in 2 seconds. Makes it in 2 oz increments 2-10oz. I wish I had it with DD bc she was EFF. DS is 85% BM and I still say its worth it.

Dr Brown's formula pitcher helped a lot. Just make enough for 24 hours or less. Then we had a bowl in the sink we would set the bottle in and put hot water in for a couple min. Another thing we do for travel but could work for night time is putting water in the bottle in advance and having pre-measured formula. Lastly, our friends used a thermos to keep warm water in for bottles. I thought that was a good idea!
She only drinks room temp bottles so I did the premeasurd powder with the prefilled bottles. I used both Tommie Tippi containers and the 3 section containers. We would bring 3-4 bottles to bed so we would also have her morning bottle with us.

Ds will drink chilled bottles. We make them in advance and just bring them up to our bedroom in a cooler with an ice pack in case he gets up. Everything then is already made and there is no fumbling around or going up and down the stairs.
