This morning I opened my car door and saw brown stuff everywhere. At first I thought an animal or something got in and then I wondered if someone dd2 got poop all over the place...only to realize that we had totally forgot an opened bottle of chocolate milk over the weekend and it exploded. It's so gross It's all over the passenger seat and ceiling and random bits elsewhere.
I don't want to take 3 kids to wait at a car detailing place. DH is out of town until Thursday. What can I do to clean it up? I made a paste with baking soda and tried to scrub it in, but ds was screaming and dd2 was trying to help the dog escape from the yard and I didn't get very far. I'll try again, but any other suggestions?
Can you find a mobile car detailing service? They usually come to office parks around here, but I'm sure they'd come to your house too. It'd be pricey, but well worth it it sounds like.
I finally found a mobile place, but they can't come until Friday. I think I have it cleaned up and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the smell is going away...
Ugh. I also had an 8 month old with me today that I was baby sitting, and our furnace is broken so a repair man came to try to fix it…it was a crazy, crazy morning.
Does you carwash have a shampoo station? Ours has one right next to the vacuum and it for $2.00 it works well enough. It's like a scrub brush with the "dry" soap stuff.
