Has anyone tried this? The price seems ridiculous at $300 but as someone who is desperate to cut down on the time it takes to do my hair, it does seem tempting.

You know, I saw a commercial for it - a youtube video or something, but by the company, not an objective review - and even in that, I was left thinking "but my straightener does a better job". Like, the 'after' looked like a poorly done straightening job.
So, unless miraculous reviews come out, I'd rather spend a little longer (I'm not even really sure this saves any time - the brushing while straightening part of straightening isn't really a time-suck) and have my hair look polished and finished than use this and have it come out just okay.

Yeah, I saw that it sold out. I ended up pulling the trigger this morning. I figure I can return it if it doesn't work. Fingers crossed, I hate blow drying my hair with a round brush.

The reviews all sound alike, they were probably written by a robot. Not one of the (few) pics even show good results. Half the reviews admit it does not really get hair totally straight, but go on to GUSH about how thrilled they are anyway(??!). No way in hell I would spend $300 on this.

Update us once you use it!
I have been using it for about two weeks now and I absolutely love it. It allows me to straighten my hair in less than ten minutes and look more polished at work. My hair is naturally curly in some spots, wavy in others and a crazy mess when air dried. For me regular straighteners took too long and left indent marks. I occasionally used the Conair Infiniti Spin Brush which was okay, but my hair had to be damp, it took about twenty minutes, and left my ends really flipped out. My parents came over for dinner last night and commented on my hair and when I told them about the Dafni, even my dad, who is a penny pincher agreed that it was worth it if it saved me time every morning when trying to get two kids out the door.
