My kid is almost 4. She does language class at school Monday after school. Dancing Thursday 5-545 Skating Saturday 9-930 Swimming 11/1130 Gymnastics (not at all serious) 11-1130 Sunday
The school offers an intro to sports after school on Tuesday for an hour. Too much? It's just for jk/sk kids for 8 weeks. $100 (so can't just try it)
I think she is involved in plenty. But that's also because I see you have activities all morning Saturday and one on Sunday too. I don't like to give up both weekend mornings for activities at this age. I like to have at least one day for family outings.

That would be too much for me and probably DS too. He gets exhausted just from half day pre-k.
I only just signed him up for 5 weeks of once a week basketball class on Wednesday evenings and am stressing about it (mainly for me because I have to get 3 kids ready and be on time and one is a newborn).

There are already 4 physical activities during the week. I don't think you need an intro to sports class too. Maybe if it was a music class or something different, but even then I would probably drop one of the others before adding anything else.
That's a lot. At this age school is exhausting still. I wouldn't push the limits after.
We do 1 activity right now that's not DC and while DD loves it it's a PITA for me and she's definitely wore out after it.
I own my own DD likes a lot of home time and there's something to be said about that. Especially when it's still nice out. I look for more one time activities in the dead of winter/early spring but summer/fall...they'd rather be outside.
This is where I fall. That's absolutely too much for me (and I also only have one!). We all enjoy our home/down time too much.
But that's me, not you.
The weekends seem so long when we have no plans. Even with the busy mornings, we have to play all afternoon. So long.
Have you thought about other alternatives? I mean, we don't just sit at home and play, we do different outings. Go to the playground, take a walk at the park, go to a children's museum, visit a city festival, etc. The days feel so long if we don't do something, but it's nice to have the freedom and variety of doing different things. It's also a whole lot cheaper than all those activities.

Yes. So much this.
We throw small outings in when we don't have true plans. A trip to get ice cream or froyo, bookstore to get a book, TRU for a single $1 Matchbox car on a rainy day, etc. Our days are better when we get out.
If there is one thing that is constantly reinforced to me on MMM, it's that my life choices (particularly my schedule and social pace) would make so many people here miserable. And vice versa

I feel you on that. But I did/do what cricketwife mentioned- I try to come up w/ stuff to do around the area. This is very much my personality but I HATE locking myself into set times that I have to do stuff. I suck it up, of course, for stuff having to do w/ DS. But the idea of locking myself into SIX things every week makes me cringe, TBH. Especially on the weekends. DH and I like to have the freedom to get up and go and just do what we want to do when we want to. Or to have a lazy day at home.
But this is also about my kid too - he likes lazy days at home too and I can tell when we have too much stuff going on.
I'd add it but drop swimming or skating. We avoid two things on the same day. We did swimming in warm months and skating in cold when DS was younger. Now we do hockey all the damn time.
It would be too many for us but we like to just have one or two obligations a week. Weekends seem to get so busy anyway, I looked at our schedule and we are booked every Saturday and Sunday until Jan already. Ugh
