My 5 yo DD woke me up at 5am because she is hungry. We are on vacation and in a hotel. We told her this was going to happen when she would not eat dinner. Finally, at 5:30 I relented and went to the car to get snacks. I'm too Dan nice. Now I'm wide awake stressing about work stuff. Grrrrr
Up again 3 hours later to eat with one paci replacement wake up in there too. It seems like lately she settles and sleeps alone better in the day than at night. So annoying.
Pretty sure I'll just bedshare after this wakeup just yo get a but more sleep before we all have to be up for the day.
So, so tired. It took over an hour to get DS back down after his first wake-up, but then I couldn't fall back asleep. I finally dozed off after a couple of hours of tossing and turning, and now DS is up for the day half an hour earlier than usual. Blergh.
Flashbacks to the awfulness if DS1s sleep ? Baby woke up every damn hour after his initial 3hr stretch last night. I'm supposed to meet friends For coffee but I kind of want to stay home and sleep
@preppy - I don't change pee diapers at night. Unless in trying to wake her up.
Her last stretch of sleep was almost 3 hours. Good but not great. She's 6 weeks old. I feel like we should be getting longer stretches at this point.
I think 3 hour stretches at 6 weeks is decent. Sorry!
That's good to hear! Seriously. I'm not sure if my perspective is off bc so many moms in my bf-ing group have babies that sleep so long they have to wake them up to nurse.

We ended up with 4 wake ups, which is actually a huge improvement, but still kinda sucks.
mcfelix, if I've learned anything, it's that there's a huge range of normal for baby sleep. Three hour stretches at six weeks doesn't sound bad at all. But it's hard not to compare!
