It's just after 1030pm here and I'm feeding DD and we are headed to bed for the night.
I have to take both older kids to school tomorrow morning (two locations) and it's suppose to be raining just during morning drop off time. So not looking forward to hauling DD around in the infant seat in the rain.
But I feel like I can't complain since I live in CA and we NEED the rain like no other.
1st wake up. I turned on the lights and changed her diaper to wake her up more so she would nurse longer. It's worked! 13 mins on one side so far. Let's hope this translates to a longer stretch of sleep.

Good luck. I was thinking today that I need to do this too. I remember doing something similar with DS2 where I'd nurse him on one side, then change his diaper and reswaddle and then nurse him on the other side. Maybe I'll try that with DD at our first wake up.
I need to remember to bring more water bottles to bed. I always wake up sweaty and thirsty. I chug a half liter bottle of water in about 5 minutes and need more!
Wakeup #1 here. Going on 7 minutes nursing now. Lately E had only been nursing one side at a time, which had been real fun at night when the poor neglected side gets all engorged. I know my body will adjust, I just hope it does so soon.

How's your DS doing with the reflux? Are the meds helping?

Yes! He's much less cranky and doesn't act like he's in pain all the time. Omg, I'm so glad I took him in. He's still spitting up, but it's actually less now that he isn't comfort eating his way to an overly full belly. And I'm able to space out his feedings a little more now, more like every 1.5-2 hours.

Wakeup #3. I am so damn tired tonight. I fell asleep on the couch as soon as DW got home, then went to bed at 9. Going back to sleep now in hopes I wake up refreshed.
11:50, first wake up. I was in bed, with my eyes closed, and about 5 seconds from being asleep when he woke up. Nursed and back to sleep in 15 minutes or so. We had a good run for just over a week, and we're back to crap. He just had his 12 month shots on Monday though, so I think that's making him grouchy.
But, seriously, you are 12 months old child! Go the F to sleep, and stay asleep! This is reeeeeeeeally getting old.
And we are up 45 mins later because she did a huge poop and woke herself up. She screamed bloody murder during the diaper change I thought it would wake up everyone in the whole house and maybe the whole damn neighborhood.
So now I'm nursing again hoping to put her back to sleep for real this time. It's midnight and I'd like a longer stretch then 45 mins please!
3 am and 2nd wake up here. DS is doing so much better tonight than last night when he refused to sleep in the RNP for longer than a 30 min stretch. Still fighting the newborn hands-in-front-of-face when eating... He gets so amgry when he's hungry. It's kind of hilarious
Ds2 has a stomach bug. I've cleaned up a lot of puke tonight. I'm so tired of getting these brought into our house multiple times a year. Fingers crossed ds1 stays well (and dh and I for that matter).
DS keeps waking up. Then my 2 year old who STTN woke up hysterical. My husband calmed her down. No one has slept really and he has to wake up for work at 4:30. I feel so bad. I'm taking both kids somewhere by myself for the first time tomorrow.

3am and it's wake-up #1, but we didn't go to bed until midnight so there's that. Hoping she'll go back down by 4am and give me at least 3 hours. I'm solo parenting her and the toddler all afternoon tomorrow so I probably won't get a nap.
Holy shit, I just got four hours of sleep. Being at birth weight is going to change my life I think. This is wake up #2 and she latched right away, prob since she's eating on her terms and not by the clock. Hopefully after this I can get through till morning? Even if I can't I don't even care.

Every damn night. The amount of water I drink is insane but I am quite sure I sweat out 99% of it.
If your kid is asleep after a feeding but has a wet, nor dirty, diaper, do you wake up to change it? Or let them sleep? She usually cries when she's wet but isn't tonight so I don't know what to do!
