Anyone have experience with Adequan?

Our dog Cindy has pretty sever arthritis in her hips. We are going to do a series of Adequan (then likely weekly or biweekly maintenance shots). I'd love to hear your experience! Thanks!

I tried it with my English bulldog. When I first noticed it and talked with the specialist he said that normally English bulldogs have knees go, not hips. Since he is difficult to handle they couldnt be sure how bad it was. We tried the shots, I think we went for 3 months or so, and they finally decided to do an MRI to check his spine, while he was out the doc checked his hips and said that they were too far gone for the shots to have helped at all.
Just my experience.
