Family pictures

Wanna help me decide what me and DS should wear for family pics?  Sure you do.  Right right right?  

So I'm pretty certain I want DH to wear the shirt.  It fits him well and he looks good in it.  Although, I'll probably do some test shots to make sure it also photographs well.  For some reason pritns always photograph funny on him.  I usually like to wear color.  So I ordered the ON swing dress in the wine color.  But then I saw the damn model holding the wine color floppy hat with the gray dress.  So now I'm torn.  If I wore the gray dress I'd probably do my wine colored lips.  And I have no idea what pants to put on DS.  At this point he could quite possibly go pantless because he HATES pants.  They have to be pull on.  He can't stand non stretchy waistbands.

Okay redid DS's outfit. I think I"m going for the wine dress.

I like the red dress. The grey looks a little to bland next to your DH's shirt I think.

For DS, I'd throw some khaki's on him with that sweater.

Can you throw on a necklace or scarf with some more colors/patterns in it maybe? It seems like you need another little other something with a pop of color in there?

I think I'm going to wear my KS gretchen necklace.


I switched DS to a gray sweater and navy cargo pants. Although, I guess I could put him in kakhis and a navy sweater. The kakhi could probably go with my boots and floppy hat. Hmmmmm...back to drawing board. Ha.

I'd keep your DS in what you have above, do the necklace above or a neutral Rayne necklace, and put a denim vest over your dress to break up the color. I think that would be great. You could do the jeans that mryrcn suggested for your DS too.

Got the dress. It was way too dark. So I went ahead and ordered the dress I wore yesterday in pink since I loved it so much anyway. Here's our new outfit.



And I think I'll add the wine colored floppy hat.

Did you get the old navy wine floppy hat? I got it and love it but havent worn it. Im doing a class on self portratis next week and think I am going to wear it.

No I haven't.  And of course it's now sold out online.  Somebody also linked a similar version from World Market and said it's a very pretty color in person.  So I might go check it out.

Love the new combo but I think I'd try to do a wine/dark red colored sweater on your DS.
