I was a 33 day cycle person before my first. When my period returmed, it was all over the place before settling in at 26 days with ovulation still being day 16 as before. I started b-6 and b-12 and got pregnant my next full cycle. (One tablet of each--largest available OTC). No guarantee it worked, but I credit the vitamins. I'm nursing that kiddo right now.
Mine is 7-8 days (usually days and days of spotting too) and b6, b vitamins etc did not help. I ended up getting pregnant using progesterone suppositories after confirming O at 3dpo helped me with DD2. I was about to try clomid because my OB had some research about it helping but luckily the progesterone worked.
I had two losses before DD1 because of it and ended up with progesterone suppositories as well. (We didn't jump right to then when ttc#2 and I wish we had. We will if we have a 3rd)
My LP was usually around 10 days, a few times less and only once or twice more. So not bad but still not ideal. I tried B6 and an OTC progesterone cream (should probably ask a doc about using that but I hate going to the doc, lol). I was also drinking a lot of green tea and pomegranate juice. I'm not sure if any of those things helped or if we had good luck that cycle (we were on cycle 11 of trying, 12 overall).
I had this problem ttC my 3rd. I just did b6 which didn't seem to help and my dh didn't want to do any meds. I cut out dairy the month I got pregnant and it moved my ovulation up 2-3 days and I got pregnant! Almost 27 weeks now. I think it was the 11th cycle and first one I cut out dairy. I was already gluten free. A few months before I did whole 30 and did not ovulate that month at all, so that was too extreme. I needed some sugar I guess.
My cycle is short. 26-28 days with o at 19-20. I did take b vitamins and right before I got pg with my 2nd I was going to start another supplement. L have to look when I get home. As soon as I got a positive pg test my on put me on progesterone suppositories til 10-12 weeks.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
