I second that you may not notice the facial swelling. I did have pre-e and by the end my whole body was swollen, but until then I thought I looked normal. At my 6 week post partum appointment my doctor did a double take because she didn't recognize me as the same person delivered the baby.

Ditto everyone else, your face is probably swollen too & you don't realize it.
Now looking back at pics I realize I was very swollen those last few weeks of pregnancy & the first few weeks after delivery. I didn't realize how bad it was at the time.

I had no idea how much my legs and face had swollen until 2 weeks pp. I looked at my legs and was shocked at how skinny they were. (they werent skinny but compared to my tree trunks....)

I feel like my facial dimples will be my indicator. I usually lose them when I'm bloated from drinking. If they disappear during pregnancy, I'll know I'm swollen.
DH SAYS MY FACE IS NORMAL. HE WOULDN'T LIE TO HIS IRRITABLE PREGNANT WIFE, WOULD HE?
He may not realize it either because he sees you everyday. I know when my DH looks back at pictures of me at the end of my pregnancy, he is shocked at how big my boobs were and how "chubby" my face looked. He never really realized it at the time bc it happened gradually.

This. DH looks at pictures of me from those final weeks and will say "but you didn't look like that in real life!" Well, yes I did honey, but its sweet you're still denying it lol.
You may not notice it. I had terrible swelling in my legs and feet, but I thought my face stayed the same. Looking back at pictures now, I see that I was swollen. I think I was in denial. I am sure you look lovely.
Ditto. I wasn't swollen to the point of it being obvious to people who didn't know me well, but when I look at pictures now, I can't believe it was my face.
