Awesome! I plan to use a birth center with midwives. Even though I really like my NP and our local hospital has a good reputation, I would much rather go with a midwife/birth center.

If we waited until it was the "right" time, we would never have kids.
There is a birthing center here that I am considering. The c-section rate here and many Latin American countries is through the roof, and that scares the crap out of me.
I get what you are saying about waiting for the "right time". We had been struggling with wanting kids vs the anxiety about savings before kids (reading too much MM) and my grandfathers Alzheimer's diagnosis made the decision easier for us.
Do you know why Latin american countries have a higher c section rate?
You know, I´m not sure. It just seems more common place here or more accepted.

Congrats on finding a potential midwife and center for yourself! Being a huge planner myself, I've researched all that kind of stuff too waaaaay before necessary, so I get you.
But now that we are ttc, and I've got my doctor/medical facility all squared away, I've moved on to baby products! It gets even more fun! haha
