Just talked to my mom-SD needs heart surgery

On his aorta I guess. Possibly open-heart surgery, but now they have a new method? He has to have it within the next six months.

My mom is having hernia surgery Sept. 11th, so they're going to wait to do SD's surgery until after she's recovered from her surgery--so probably late October.

My poor mom. She's had several health issues, and one of her dear friends is this close to dying from cancer.

watching people age and their health decline is rough, especially a loved one.

I hope your mom's surgery goes smoothly and the new less invasive method is available for your SD.
