I'm giving up cloth at night for my oldest. She's peed through my heaviest diapers three nights in a row despite going before bed and then again at 9. She peed 4 times after dinner last night (6, 7, 7:30 and again at 9:30) and she still peed out her diaper at midnight. She does not wake up until she's soaked. So, what do you use and how big's your kid? She's 3 1/3 32lbs.
I watch 2 kids a couple days a week. One of them is 4 and wears good nights to bed and for naps. She never leaks...you coukd do a goodnight with a cloth cover over it for extra protection...
Also, that seems like an awful lot. Does she go that often during the day? ETA:Not trying to sound rude, just wondering of there coukd br a medical reason for it. My little brother was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes and one of the signs was excessive thirst and urination....anyway. I'm sure it's nothing, just tossing it out there
Honestly, she doesn't drink that much all day and rarely drinks after dinner. It's available and we don't restrict, but drinks aren't allowed out of the kitchen and she rarely returns to the kitchen. She doesn't go that much during the day, she'll go several hours between bathroom trips and takes 2-3 hours naps without an accident and wears undies to naptime.
I've got a thirsties hemp doubler and two hemp inserts in there. Much more and she'll leak because it's over stuff. Honestly, she's almost too big for the elastics and I don't want to ruin them anyway. I was really hoping she'd figure it out, but I don't want her to feel bad about it and I don't like washing bedding daily. Sounds like goodnites are the diaper of choice.
I always put a bigger cover (flips usually) over the whole nighttime diaper thing for extra protection and that is usually fool-proof. But if she's leaking regardless you can get disposable night time diapers w/ a cover on top or you could try one of the cloth diapers that is sold as a nighttime diaper and sized. When they'r bigger I find the one-sized diapers aren't always enough.

We put puppy pads under DD when she was peeing a lot and reused clean ones until she leaked. We just made it not a big deal and within a short time she was dry all night and in underwear.
It's perfectly normal to pee asleep until they're school aged though.
