SBish questions

Hi all! I'm due with baby #2 Sept. 15th (haven't added tickers yet) & have a couple of ?s about SBish fitteds & flats. We didn't start CDing until Ari was about 2-3 mo so I need a NB stash this time.

We have 2 soakers from my Ari's stash & 3 medium fitteds. I loved the fitteds but didn't buy any more b/c they were sized & $$$.

Now they have the snapless multi-size. I do remember the medium seemed to run small though. Are the multi-size the same way (as in, I could possibly use with a 6-7 lb NB)?

Also, how absorbent are the flats? Okay for naps/nights? Like not all night but at least 1/2 the night?

I can only speak for the snapless multi's as that is all that I own from sbish. I didn't buy them until she was close to a year, so I never used them when she was tiny. They are a one size diaper, but I think that they would be REALLY bulky on a newborn. I do think they would make an excellent ON diaper for a younger baby though.

My 38 pound 2 year old still fits in his snapless, so I have to think they would be huge on a newborn. I think she just launched newborn snapless.

My 35 lb 2.5 year old also still fits into her snapless.
