First complaint - Sole Society. They charged me a $7.95 restocking fee. Who charges a restocking fee on an item that can be sold to another person. Bastards!
Second complaint - I am on week FOUR or working out 4-5 days a week and tracking everything that goes in my mouth (insert joke here lol) and I haven't lost a single pound! Okay, so maybe one or two, but not the 15 MFP says I would have lost. My body is over worked and I am under fed (of things I actually want to eat, that is) and I'm about to just say F it. Although, I do have a new found love in hot yoga and do feel better now that I have been moving. It is just super annoying to do all the work and see no results.
@blonde407, good for you for all the work you've done, that's awesome!!! I know you haven't gotten the results you've wished for, but I bet you're still healthier overall as a result! If you're looking for other options, I recently started using iTrackbites, which is an app that is basically a WW knockoff, but you only pay the one time price of the app, vs however much a month WW is. It's been a while since I've done WW, but in the week I've been using this app, I'm already down a couple pounds. Clearly I've lost all my good WW habits so I feel good to be back on track and relearning it all again.
I can relate on the weight topic! I have been trying to get myself back on the rails with WW. I did SO well with it my first time around and this time, I can't get through a damn week of tracking everything. I don't know if its just because I'm tired, stressed or just too busy during the day with everything going on to remember or find the will power to make good choices or all of the above. I've gained lbs and I can see it in my clothes. I gotta find a way to motivate myself and get serious. It makes me sad but apparently not sad enough to do better. AGH
@blonde407 - increase your protein. Screw that calorie count & for 2 weeks up your protein & keep your carbs lower. See what happens. I'm sure you will see results.
bimbi284 - I'm sorry. Being miserable in a job is no good.
I second this. I had been tracking food meticulously for months and I didn't start losing until I cut down on starchy foods, especially later in the day. Based on recommendations from my doctor, I upped my protein overall and cut out starchy foods. I've finally seen progress since doing that a few months ago. I can't work out though beyond walking though due to some injuries from a car accident and a recent surgery so being super strict on my food is the only way i've been able to move the scale.
Isn't it amazing how weight can pile on so easily, but it's a pain in the butt to take off!?
We drove to VT today and H was insistent on taking the highway route that was an HOUR longer. He could not be reasoned with. He's convinced the TomTom is out to get him.

Did you take the scenic route? Virginia is so pretty in fall!
I tore up my closet. Took all my clothes and shoes out and I started taking down the stupid bead boards the previous owner put up. But they didn't vent it at all and there is still no electricity. Its wood every where: the walls, the floor, even the ceiling. I hated my closet walls long enough. Getting an estimate for ductwork today so I don't have to shiver in my closet this whole winter trying to decide what to wear.

We're from NYS so Virginia would have been way out of the way from Vermont lol. The last few hours were off the thruway and very pretty with the fall leaves though. :-)

Ha! I assumed Virginia tech, not Vermont! LOL! At least you got to enjoy the fall leaves!

This is the worst truth. I went back to counting calories (in conjunction with a focus on overall better eating), which I haven't done in years, this summer. It was miserable and I didn't lose a pound.
The only successes I've found is in running. No weight lost but my clothes fit better. Trying to find the time to fit in a run during the week is rough though.
I got the weight talk from my OB. I am 25 weeks pregnant with my 3rd. Never got the talk before. I honestly think there was an issue with the scale as every other scale I have tried since then puts me at about 10 lbs. lighter than hers did (hers was a digital). My H just had his physical and checked our scale and it was right on with his doctor. She made me feel awful. Said to stop taking my kids' food, etc. It is a huge blow as I try to be my healthiest while pregnant. She made me feel like I am harming this baby. Since then I've cut out extras and now eat less than I did when not pregnant, bc she has me so freaked out. We all pregnancy is not when you diet I still eat healthy, but ugh! Talk about a blow.
Last night dh was laying down with ds after he fell asleep. I was in the kitchen finishing up crap for the ribbon cutting. He came out screaming that something was in his ear. I couldn't see anything. He ended up meeting his mom at the er bc ds was asleep. As they were walking in the door a spider crawled out.
I guess the plus side is that by it crawling out we didn't have to pay an insane er bill. The other plus is that it could have easily crawled into ds's ear and he might not have been able to explain the feeling or know there was something in there at all.he is a heavy sleeper.
