I'm good with staying here forever - so far, I'm finding this board much, much faster than the Nest, even on a good day. I rarely used the site for anything but MM and occasional posting on other boards, so I could care less about it being connected with the Nest site. And actually, it will be nice to be able to pop in on my work computer without worrying about having a coworker wonder why I'm looking at pregnancy tests or reading about a sexathon.

But I enjoy the MM community so if everyone else leaves, I will too. I won't stay on principle or anything like that.

Plus it would be nice to be able to easily post from my phone or tablet. I never could figure that out on my phone!

I have not been back on the nest since my local board changed to here.... someone posted up the link for here. So what else did the nest do to make everyone leave... I'm curious??

I'm not sure. If this functions the same as MM did, I am fine with staying here. I just don't know that all the boards will stay active that I enjoyed hopping to every day. I hate the new white background though. It really did hurt my eyes after a while.

I really like it here. The format is great, it loads fast & is so much easier in general.

Plus I really like the fact that it is controlled by one of us vs. a corporation that doesn't care about it's members. We got an MM Mom's board within hours of asking for one ;D

Not a big fan of change, but this is far superior to what the nest boards have become. I hope we stay, but I will follow back to the nest if it goes back to the way it was. As is, it is painful to my eyes and my blood pressure having to wait for posts to load. I won't be back there anytime soon.
