I will get one at work....we just received our shipment this week, so hopefully next week! It is free through work.
My kiddo hasn't gotten hers yet, but she will get the mist when I take her in for her four year checkup/shots later this month.
My H got one yesterday actually through work.
I got the flu last year....despite getting the shot. Supposedly it was a light case, yet I still wanted to die. I will absolutely get one from here on out...cause if that was a light case, I don't want to meet a bad one! I have heard that the formula is MUCH better this year than it was last year.

why the mist over the shot? i've heard a couple people say that and am just curious if i need to follow suit lol.
Our pedi told me last year they think its more effective?
That plus its one less shot that I have to hear my kid scream about. lol
Totally spaced my appointment at my work clinic yesterday am going next week now. Zero dollars N/A He'll get his at his next oncology appointment.
Get your shots people! I don't give a damn if you 'never get the flu'. And the shot doesn't give you the flu either. If you touch an office door handle, use a public restroom or a shopping cart during your day, you're indirectly in contact with immunocompromised people. Please protect them by getting your shot!
Kids and I got the shot (it was all they had) 3-4 weeks ago. H got the mist last week (all that office had). Covered by insurance, all received at the kids' pediatricians' offices.
Also....I feel like, after this IVF shit, I'm an expert in giving shots. I wish they sold these over the counter and just let me give it to myself. lollll
I got mine about 2-3 weeks ago at work. For free. My insurance considers it preventive care so there's no cost.
DS got his within a few days of me, at his 2.5 yr well visit.
DH may get one. He's terrified of needles and often faints. He has to lay down when poked with needles. Feet elevated. The works. It takes a lot of convincing.
I got mine last week at C's 4 year appointment and she got hers as well, both were free. Not sure when my H will get his; he needs to confirm with his oncologist.

Where did you get it? Got it at Walgreens
How much did it cost? $30.00
Did your kids get one? Carter did, but Jackson has to wait until his 4 year check up in November since we moved over the summer and they require a wellness check before they give him one at the pedi.
Did your dh? He has not yet, but he is a toss up every year if he will get one.
If you have not gotten one this year, will you do so?
I got mine at the Rite Aid two weeks ago. It was $32.
It might have been free had I gone to CVS (since they're my new insurance's "preferred provider"), but I was already at the Rite Aid, and I love the pharmacist there, and she's the only person to ever give me a flu shot, so I paid out of pocket, because I am both strangely loyal and a little stupid.
Planning to get mine soon, hopefully not paying anything if I get it on base. The kids will get theirs when DS 2 has his 5 year well-child visit next month. H has no choice about getting it--thank you, U.S. Army--and will probably receive his in the next couple of weeks when they go office-to-office and inoculate everyone who isn't actively treating a patient.
I usually get mine for free at work but they aren't doing it till the first week of November this year for some reason. Would you wait that late to get one? I'm thinking about just going to CVS to get one.
Last year dh got his at CVS and they didn't charge him anything since our insurance paid it all.
For this year dh just got his for free at work last week.
DH and I are going to Walgreens this weekend to get ours. It is usually free with insurance, though this is the first time I'm getting one with my new insurance.
I was going to get mine last weekend but then work sent an email about free shots, so now I'm scheduled for 11/4. L got hers last month, not sure when H will get his.
DD got hers last week at a well visit. They could've done ours but we would've paid oop, so we called our pcp and went there the same day. All of us were covered by insurance.
I thought it really hurt this year. It was like she really had to poke to get it to release or something. That or she was just a mean nurse.
They give them starting in November here. We will probably all get them at my GP because he does them for free on a saturday, no appointment needed, and it usually goes pretty fast.

Getting it on Friday at the medical clinic where I volunteer, where it both required and free. Younger son will definitely get one before 11/1 and I strongly encouraged my older to get it at school. He was really sick last semester (not flu but sick nonetheless) so I think it was a pretty easy sell.
