I gave in to the craze about two years too late, but finally got a Fitbit. On one hand I really love it -- it's been really motivating me to be more active. On the other hand, it was glitch the last few days -- not advancing steps, not counting activity minutes -- and that's irritating me tons. I don't know when to trust it or not. At least it's UNDERREPORTING, so at worst I'll get more activity than I need!

I am buying an oil change as I post. After this I'm going for groceries, shipping an Amazon return, and depositing the checks I took in this week. No clients today.
Love it so much that I bought several more on Amazon plus matching body bars. I figure that if I'm paying for shipping, I'll stock up Can't wait! I'm out of soap and using DH's, so I really want girlie soap again.
No rants; I haven't been spending any unnecessary money for the past several months, so nothing to complain about!
I love the description on those. This part made me chuckle "A fresh starting note, like the garden of the Hesperides ... "
I cannot find a placemat/cloth napkin/napkin ring combo that I like. The cloth napkins I really like, I don't care for the placemats that go with it. The placemats that I think look best, I don't really like and I can't find napkins that I like to go with them.
The only thing I like is the napkin rings I found.

I got a Fitbit Charge HR. So far I love it. It appears to count my steps even if my arm isn't swinging. So that's good news since I carry the baby a lot and she requires both hands.

A friend of mine had this great purse on the beach trip. It was Cynthia rowley but she bought it at TJMaxx. I had hours to kill at the building dept yesterday, so I found it on eBay and bought it. Ha! It's like this, but black, smaller and the long strap is leather too.
Wait, found a pic. This is it. Bad photo! I swear it's great in person.
I bought a small Vera Bradley tote and wallet (Rio pattern) and I love it. Good size and weight and fun. I wanted cloth for things like wet bleachers and swim lessons etc. My new slip on Skechers are amazing. Like walking on air.
I'm apparently a 55 year old woman. A comfy 55 year old woman.
HairFood is a great shampoo and cheap. I love my Thieves oil handsoap. The smell basically. I need to round some up that's not MLM.
Dole Yogurt smoothies in the frozen section are great for my kids. As are the Special K breakfast sandwich. Bacon only though. The others are gross.
My new Samsung tablet is also awesome. Good size. Lightweight and fast. We had an Asus prior and thing sucked. That's my rant.
I love Lowes sale plant section. It is pretty hit and miss, but today I got an 8 foot or so $45 palm for $5 and a $12 shrub for $3.
The palm is not in fabulous condition and it needs some love, but there is more good than bad going on, and it is tall enough to put by the fence in the courtyard and block my neighbor's view from their family room into our kitchen. For $5 it was worth a shot. I wish that I could find a few more priced like that so that I could block out a little more. The shrub is the same type that we planted a few of earlier this year. I can't remember what it is called, but it is silvery and looks really pretty in front of our dark fence. That one is in excellent condition so I have no idea why it was marked down.
Burt's Bees detangling spray for dogs actually works well enough that little miss fluffernut let me work through a bunch of really horrible mats and tangles without crying. I didn't think it would work so I had avoided buying it, but it was on clearance at Home Goods so I thought it was worth a try for a few bucks, and I wouldn't be out much if it didn't work.. If I had known 9 years ago that we would wind up in FL, the land of bugs, leaves and tree junk, I would not have gotten a fluffy dog.
I think I mentioned last week that DH had enrolled us in Try The World, where they send you a box of food stuff from a different country each time. They have a chef contribute, and the box from Spain came with four or five recipes using the ingredients in the box....we had so much fun with it. The Paris box had one recipe, and it was for meat, (which I don't eat), so even though the box has interesting food, we were a little underwhelmed after the the Spain box. I guess we need to come up with our own Paris menu. It will be fun to see how the other boxes are done.

That's the one I have. I've had it for about a month with no (known) problems, but all of a sudden last night it hung up on like 9560. If I walked around for like five minutes it would advance another 10 steps, and then another 10, but something wasn't working right. And then today it listed me as having 0 active minutes even though I know I always get a bunch walking to and from the train station, etc.
