We moved a few weeks ago from GA to KS. I was able to pretty much prevent mosquito bites on the kids with just off spray, but the Mosquitos up here (and I think we have chiggers too) don't seem the least bit deterred by it. Any recs on a better way to prevent the bites? The kids love playing in our new backyard but are getting covered in bites. I found a service online that will do a spray treatment of the lawn, but the guy said he didn't feel good about spraying where the kids play. Poor DD has been clawing at a bite on her forehead since last night

We're in the West Nile hot zone, so we've been staying inside. DS is too young for DEET (eating his hands/feet), but if your kids are older, that's what friends have been using on their kids.

Sadly the OFF spray I use does already have DEET, but we're still getting bitten. I'll definitely have to look for the cutter spray, and maybe some heavy duty citronella supplies. Thanks!
