1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Cycle 2, CD3
2. Any news. AWs. vents to share? Not really.
3. QOTW. Do you live close or far away from family? Does that make you happy/glad or sad when thinking of having a baby? The majority of our family lives within an hour's drive from us. I'm glad for it because I know that no one will be staying for days and can all go home. But at the same time, I'm guessing they're will be more impromptu visits than normally would be.
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Cycle 6, CD6
2. Any news, AWs, vents to share? BFN last Friday. I'm getting frustrated. BUT (imoan will judge me for being paranoid but I don't care lol) I did find out that our insurance has a "reproductive resources" coverage that provides up to $30k for any fertility services. We'll wait to act on it for several more cycles, but I'm thrilled to know we have that to fall back on if we end up needing it.
3. QOTW. Do you live close or far away from family? Does that make you happy/glad or sad when thinking of having a baby? Two hours from my parents. Which is not ideal, but doable and definitely within driving distance so I'll take it!

I was just going to do this!
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? CD 11
2. Any news. AWs. vents to share? Every month I think I am PG, so many phantom symptoms
3. QOTW. Do you live close or far away from family? Does that make you happy/glad or sad when thinking of having a baby? I live in Peru, my parents live in Arizona and my in-laws in Iowa. I have mixed emotions. Having them here would be hella stressful, especially my mom, but having people close to help me emotionally and physically after actually having a child would be nice.
Might help get things moving? (MM Moms does this, "borrowed" their questions.)
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? cycle 13, day 21
2. Any news. AWs. vents to share? this is my first cycle TTC after endo surgery. I don't feel any different in the 2ww from the last year of trying so I don't really have my hopes up too high
3. QOTW. Do you live close or far away from family? Does that make you happy/glad or sad when thinking of having a baby? both parents and in-laws live close to me so that makes me glad, they're awesome. I wish my sister lived closer to me though
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Cycle 1 (just off BCP), CD 15, no O in sight....
2. Any news. AWs. vents to share? No news, just getting the hang of charting, etc.
3. QOTW. Do you live close or far away from family? Does that make you happy/glad or sad when thinking of having a baby? Far. We live in the UK right now (I'm military) and all of our family is on the East Coast. I love where we live, even if it is far from family. Likely our next assignment in two years will be on the East Coast, and hopefully we'll have a LO or at least be pregnant by then .

1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Month 3, CD15
2. Any news. AWs. vents to share? Positive OPK today. This month is stressing me out re: TTC. Trying to get timing right is a major pain in the ass.
3. QOTW. Do you live close or far away from family? Does that make you happy/glad or sad when thinking of having a baby? They are about an hour away, in-laws a plane ride away. I wish everyone were closer- there will be few impromptu visits . I miss being near my family a lot.
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? I guess today marks the start of Cycle 2
2. Any news. AWs. vents to share? Having a rough day. Just started charting this past month and found it to be stressful watching the temps. AF came today which I expected due to the temps but still sad about it.
3. QOTW. Do you live close or far away from family? Does that make you happy/glad or sad when thinking of having a baby? We are not close to family but really doesn't bother me one way or the other.
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Cycle 3, CD 15...hoping to O soon.
2. Any news. AWs. vents to share? I am getting a second interview for a job I would really like.
3. QOTW. Do you live close or far away from family? Does that make you happy/glad or sad when thinking of having a baby? We are 1.5 hours from my parents and 2 hours from my in-laws, and I think that is about perfect. We are close enough to visit on the weekend, but they won't be around all the time.
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Cycle 1, CD 12. Back to trying after our April miscarriage.
2. Any news. AWs. vents to share? Just got Taking Charge of Your Fertility and I can't believe I waited this long to buy it. Such a fascinating book!
3. QOTW. Do you live close or far away from family? Does that make you happy/glad or sad when thinking of having a baby? We live within an hour of our immediate families and my mom lives on the other side of the country. She may move back in the next couple years, to about 2 hours from us. I think it's the perfect distance. Love my family but I like my space too.
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? CD22ish. I should be Oing soon, but I'm not going to bother with the OPKs anymore this month, since I just learned that I have a huge cyst that needs to come out.
2. Any news. AWs. vents to share? I'm super relieved that there is an explanation for this pain (and for other crap going on with my body), but I'm super scared about what my ultrasound results mean for our future TTC plans. The scan showed "multiple fibroids" and possible uterine malformations. FML.
3. QOTW. Do you live close or far away from family? Does that make you happy/glad or sad when thinking of having a baby? Both sets of parents live within 10 minutes of us. That, I'm sure, will be a blessing and a curse. If successful, ours would be the first "real" grandchild for both. I say "real" because my step-sisters each have a kid, but it will be my mom's first biological grandchild. And H's half-sister has 2 kids, but ours would be his mom's first biological grandchild.

1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Cycle 1, CD12 (first month off bcp) don't think I'll O this month...no signs really. Tho I'm not temping at this point so who knows...
2. Any news. AWs. vents to share? I got lots of cute clothes and shoes this week for fall and gutted my closet to make room. WIN.
3. QOTW. Do you live close or far away from family? Does that make you happy/glad or sad when thinking of having a baby? Close to my immediate fam, not his. This set up works just fine for me. We go see his fam (back east) twice a year, so it's not like the kiddo will never know his side. Our doors are always open to them but they never come see us. *shrug* I love them dearly, but airfare is expensive, so I'm starting to feel like it needs to go both ways.

It's still early in your cycle, don't give up! I didn't get any reliable signs until Day 13 this cycle.

1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? TTC for almost 3 years. First round of IVF. 2WW.
2. Any news. AWs. vents to share? Nothing yet. I took a pregnancy test, but it was negative. Beta next week.
3. QOTW. Do you live close or far away from family? Does that make you happy/glad or sad when thinking of having a baby? We live a little over an hour away. I wish we lived a little closer, but we still get to see our families often. It's not close enough to randomly drop in. It worries me a little bit with #2. I wish they were closer to help with DD. It's annoying because they won't make the drive to us and expect us to always make the drive down there. Our parents are all in their 40s or 50s, so it's not like my grandparents that don't drive on the highway or after dark.

Good luck w the IVF statler!!! What do you think of the process so far? I'm keeping IVF in the back of my mind, but will prob try another year before seriously looking into it.

Thank you. I am embarrassed to admit I really needed to hear this. It's SO early (hello, just off bcp) and I'm already needing a mental boost. But thanks that's very encouraging!

1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Cycle 2, CD 19 (5 DPO), although we aren't trying very hard yet. If nothing happens by November or December we'll probably buckle down.
2. Any news. AWs. vents to share? Not particularly!
3. QOTW. Do you live close or far away from family? Does that make you happy/glad or sad when thinking of having a baby? Close. My parents are about 30 minutes away and ILs are about a mile away! It makes me happy, I grew up far from my grandparents. I like that my kids will see theirs all the time. Though sometimes I wish ILs were a little farther than walking distance! ;-)
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Cycle 9, CD1. This is actually a good thing for once, since we are going on vacation in a couple weeks and I REALLY didn't want to be stressed out about miscarrying, and we're going to a theme park one day and I love roller coasters.
2. Any news. AWs. vents to share? I'm really tired of TTC, peeing on things, etc. I was able to get pregnant easily the past two times (one surprise pregnancy, one the first cycle we tried) so I'm starting to get worried.
3. QOTW. Do you live close or far away from family? Does that make you happy/glad or sad when thinking of having a baby? ILs live about 10 minutes away, the rest of my family is at least 45 minutes away. I prefer a little distance, although it gets annoying having to drive to every family event. I sometimes feel smothered by the ILs because they are often at our house.
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? First month off BCPs. Not TTC yet, but charting. CD14.
2. Any news. AWs. vents to share? No news, AWs, or vents really.
3. QOTW. Do you live close or far away from family? Does that make you happy/glad or sad when thinking of having a baby? We live far away from both our families. It does make me a little sad that we won't have the help/support we would like to have when starting a family. But, we're planning on moving closer (but still a few states away) from H's family.
“Life is not orderly. No matter how we try to make it so, right in the middle of it lose a leg, fall in love, drop a jar of applesauce.” - Natalie Goldberg
I'm new here! We went off BC in May. I happened to get a BFP right away that first month. I was surprised and very excited. However, I had a miscarriage around 7 weeks. We can just start trying again this cycle.
1. Where are you in your cycle or TTC journey? Today is CD20. First cycle TTC post m/c.
2. Any news. AWs. vents to share? I decided I wanted to actively TTC. When I got pg last time, it was our first month trying off BC and I really didn't think it'd happen right away. I decided to try wondo OPKs this cycle, and they had me ovulating CD 18-19, so just a couple days ago. Hopefully we timed stuff out right.
3. QOTW. Do you live close or far away from family? We live semi close to family. DH's family lives about 1 1/2 hours away. My sister lives 1 1/2 hours away in a different direction. My mom lives about 750 miles away in another state (she moved there 6 years ago) but is hopefully moving back next year, and moving back to my city! I am excited for that! We don't have immediate family in our general area.
