Man, he is a twice a day pooper, but today it has been allllll day. I'm worried day care is going to send him home for having two runny diapers (two diarrhea diapers means go home). Surely they get it if it is a teething thing, right?

Also, my sister said Motrin worked better for her kids. Isn't the rule no Motrin til 6 months? And how do I know what's working better? Just...he will whine less?

Motrin worked way better for P, she slept much better and her periods of happiness during bad teething days lasted longer on Motrin.

Correct, no Motrin until 6 months. And yes, it works better than Tylenol. So waiting until 6 months sucks, but that's the rule. I give DD Motrin every night for teething.

Motrin is so much better! I had to make due with Tylenol for my son's first four teeth, but as soon as he hit six months and started teething again I gleefully used the Motrin. It makes him so much more comfortable!

Motrin in much better than Tylenol and it lasts longer. And PP is right about the droll and more runny diapers.
DS is cutting 4 top teeth at once and he's a mess so yes, I vote totally normal. Motoring every 6-8 hours and I love this orajel pen thing from Walgreens (much easier to apply)
