I'm starting this since we are on wake up #1. I convinced DH to try the swaddle again (he is very reluctant) and she did a 2 hour stretch on him downstairs while I slept. She's feeding swaddled now and if she's falls asleep hard we are going to try to get her to sleep in the bassinet. She typically only sleeps on one of us so this could blow up in our faces but we have to start trying or she will sleep on us forever.

West coast and haven't gone to bed yet because ds fell asleep on the sofa. Tmrw is my first day back to work - so much for having him on any sort of schedule!
Wake up number one here. This is his first try at sleeping in his room. He cried to eat right on cue. So I am rocking him back to sleep. He still won't lay flat, but I will take what I can get right now. :-)
Wake up 1 here too. Hoping we get another long stretch dH and I went to bed so late which was stupid. Been up 45 mins this wake up so far... No plans for tomorrow so I can sleep in and maybe catch up on sleep from our sleep deprvrd weekend.
@preppy, I learned that my DD sleeps MUCH betrer when swaddled, keep trying!
I had my 6 week appointment yesterday and got cleared to work out . I need to find a good routine to follow
I'm hoping I get cleared to do light work outs tomorrow! So far I just plan on doing lots of walking. I think we'll start with 1.5 mile RT walk 2x/week to Ds1s preschool and .5 mile RT to the park 3x/week
Wake up #2, she slept for two hours in the bassinet!!!!swaddle for the win. She's feeding now so I'm hoping she goes down well and I can get her back in there again. This could be life changing, I get much more restful sleep when she's not lying on me.
I'm on wake up 3. I just got a 3-hour stretch for the first time in a long time, so I'm pretty pleased...and sad that I'm so pleased with a single 3-hour stretch of sleep...
She just fed for only 7 minutes and fell asleep in the boob. That is half as long as usual. I feel like this is an issue? But I am going to put her back in the bassinet in a minute if she stays asleep.
Maybe she will get more restful sleep and zonk longer between feeds?
Wake up #2 here, but the first one was a quick binkie re-plug. Hoping everyone stays asleep until alarms today. Last night DH was up with DD1 due to boogers. She's definitely starting with something. Hoping she doesn't pass it on to the rest of us.
preppy - we didn't start swaddling until about 3 or 4 weeks, but it's been life changing over here. She was a really sleepy baby the first 3 weeks or so and her startle reflex just didn't bother her much. But once she started being a bit more awake and aware of her surroundings she was fighting sleep more and more.
I usually unswaddled and change her, feed one side so she's a bit more awake to eat for longer. Then reswaddle and feed the other side so she gets sleepy and easier to put down.
Wake up #4 after another 2.5 hours in the bassinet! I'm so happy she gas been staying sleeping in there all night. This is the best thing ever for us. I think this is better than s long stretch of sleep honestly!
preppy I'd try to change her diaper or unswaddle to wake her ass up a bit.
Wake up #1 here. She didn't go down til like 11:30 last night but she slept for 5 hours straight. Prob too much to ask for an earlier bedtime too.
Woke up super engorged so had to pump a bit to take the edge off and now I'm wide awake with the knowledge that H's alarm will go off soon. Maybe I need a hand pump so I don't have to deal with the whole PISA set up to pump a bit in the middle of the night

My hand pump (the Medela one) was pretty cheap & I love it! I don't even use my electric pump.

This means hungry in an hour for us. So glad you were able to put her down. Swaddles are magical.

Thank you. She's so damn pleasant in the mornings, too! She's having a mini word explosion, so maybe that's it? This morning she very clearly said "'monitor."
If not STTN a is recent I would chalk it up to the word explosion. Ds1's sleep aways suffers when he has some kind of growth spurt.
@preppy - DD falls asleep quickly which means she wakes up sooner. I have to unswaddle and change her diaper to wake her up to nurse longer. It's annoying but not as annoying as waking up 45 mins after a feeding.
